I’m getting sick of these apps giving you a free trial period then charging an arm and a leg afterwards. If it’s free, it’s free not just “free for now” VERY DECEIVING...
Another Brain Dead Misleading App
So the ads on Instagram make it seem like it utilises deepfake technology to apply celebrity faces onto things but no. It just takes a selfie, makes a stupid puppet animation to move the mouth and pastes it onto stupid videos. Don’t waste the five minutes.
Dishonest developer
If you mark something as Free in the App Store then it should be free. Immediately after opening the app you’re forced into a 7 day trial that then reverts to a $15 per week membership. That’s not free. I’m fine with Freemium to access additional features but this is just a scam. Not to mention the app produces lame gifs that look nothing like the ads fir the product. I’m reporting this app to Apple.
Reported: misleading advertising
I downloaded this after watching a Facebook ad depicting a cut scene from SpiderMan where Tom Cruises face was convincingly morphed into SpiderMan’s, heavily implying that you could swap your face in a similar manner, right? Ok, I’ll bite. Downloaded. This app is nothing remotely close. It plasters a still 2D selfie onto cartoon figures. Come to think of it, it actually looks more like the children’s TV show “Angela Anaconda” only it will Bill you $14.99 PER WEEK ☠️ What a valueless piece of garbage. Reported as a scam to FB.
Another subscription app
When will you app developers learn, people don’t want to pay $15 a week to use your crappy app! Without even being able to trial it first! Your “free trail” is a joke, we basically have to sign up to do it. Seriously it’s a joke.......
