Had to use this app to see if my dog needed a emergency card and when I expressed my concerns his pain wasn’t being taken seriously Dr Emily gave the most condescending and rude answer possible I’m in shock, she said “if you are that concerned you can always go private”  absolutely disgusting response to an owner worried about their pet
it was like I was being looked down on for being with the PDSA I’m am livid beyond words.

Raasay was very unwell one weekend. Used Vidivet and got a video back from a vet within minutes explaining what was wrong with her, what we should do and when we should contact our own vet. Really put our mind at rest, we were confidently able to leave a vet appointment until Monday when she got some antibiotics and has now made a full recovery. Amazing service.

I am fortunate to be able to access this service for my dogs and have used it once, over a couple of days during the Easter holidays.
The app itself is very straightforward and easy to use.
Queries can be typed or submitted via video message. Photos can be attached to messages.
In my case, all responses were via video message, which made them more personal.
This isn’t for emergencies or designed to replace your pet’s primary vet but very much has a place in offering advice and support when the practice is closed.
The vets were professional and offered sensible evidence-based advice that both helped and informed the care we gave our dog whilst she was very poorly.
I’d recommend the service, and the app, unreservedly.

My Jack Russel is a senior now, and with that often comes more problems. My primary vets recommended downloading VidiVet and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with it! The vets are so kind and clearly care very much, especially as some will often follow up after a while! They obviously have some constraints without access to full medical records, but they try really hard to work through that even if it’s directing to the primary vets line. Could not recommend enough if you have any questions about your pet.
