## ViewExif Description
ViewExif is a powerful metadata tool for your photos. With the help of ViewExif, you can not only view metadata of photos, but also edit and remove metadata in photo. Besides, it has an app extension, so you can view metadata right in Photos app. 

Being able to read exif tags can be of great importance not only for beginners, but also for other photographers who want to find out what settings and tools were used to create a particular photograph. 

For those people who want to protect privacy, this app is useful for you as well. When you send photos via email or share on social network, your personal information (geo location, taken date etc) is shared as well. If you upset to share those information, ViewExif is able to remove it before sharing.

Excellent tool - however, photos albums which are synchronised via iTunes appear in random sequence. Please sort the albums in alphabetical sequence before they are shown. Then I will grant full 5 stars.

Die Angaben zu Bildauflösung und Blende mögen stimmen, dagegen sind die Angaben zu Aufnahmegerät (iphone-Modell, iPad etc.) und vor allen Dingen dem DATUM der Aufnahme schlichtweg falsch. Sie scheinen aus der Luft gegriffen, und es ist rätselhaft, woher die App diese Informationen haben will.

Im übrigen kann man die Metadaten nicht "editieren", sondern nur *komplett löschen*. Das ist nicht das, was versprochen wurde! Also besser die Finger von weg lassen.

Die beste kostenlose App zum Ansehen und Entfernen von Metadaten. Sollte jeder haben und nutzen um Privatsphäre von sich, Partner und Freunden zu schützen, wenn Bilder geteilt oder ins Internet gestellt werden.

I was  happy with this app for a very long time but recently I wasn’t able to view exif data from within my photos app anymore. Reinstalling and checking permissions didn’t work so unfortunately it had to go...

Die App trägt den Namensteil „view“ und mehr kann sie nicht. Dafür gäbe es fünf Sterne, da sie dies sehr gut tut. Vier Sterne Abzug, weil sie nicht wie beworben Metadaten editieren kann. Egal was ich ändere bzw. an Keywords oder Beschreibungen eintrage, es wird nicht gespeichert und hat demzufolge keine Funktion. IPhone Xs iOS 12.4
