Bike-sharing has never been so easy
Open the app and activate your location services to find the closest docking station with available bikes.
When you arrive close to the station, press “Unlock a Villo!” and choose your Villo! from the list of available bikes there.
At the end of your ride, a notification will be sent to your mobile confirming the safe return of the bike to a docking station and you will be able to share your experience with a community of active users.

The “Villo! officiel” app can be tailored to your needs: just select the option that is best suited to your lifestyle. The first thirty minutes of every ride are free. Bank card payments are secure.
Access the service as a group
You can borrow up to five bikes at the same time with the “Villo! officiel” app. Spread the word! Whether you have an annual pass or not, you can purchase up to five additional short-term passes in just one click.
Collect points
Use the app to actively contribute to the good operation and improvement of the service by giving feedback on your bike at the end of each ride, or by flagging a defect to the technical service.

Sometimes it’s great. Use the old bikes
Villo is a service you want to love, but the inconsistent experience makes it hard to sometimes. The app user experience feels a bit clunky and outdated compared to services like Dott, Lime, Tier, … For example the bikes are given starred ratings, but I have no idea where these come from. In all the times I’ve used the service I have never been asked to a rate a bike. In practice this means I might take a bike with a 3/3 star rating or labeled as “checked” that have issues that make it unusable. There’s no easy way in place to report an issue or rate a bike. I’m not going to mail them every time to report an issue when I’m just trying to get from point A to B. This means that I often need to try different bikes before I can leave. Overall, I suggest to use the old non electric bikes, as they are lighter and more stable.

J’ai fait l’abonnement aujourd’hui et arrivée à la station je ne peux pas débloquer un vélo il me met un message d’erreur ??? Quelle est l’utilité finalement ??!?!

Wifi problem at Union Forest Station
Today 17/02/2024 I took a Villo at Belgica Station to go To Forest! I left my Villo at Union St Gilles station (at the top of Rue Du Charme! I had to be at number 36 for an Art Talk at 15h00! I arrived 32 minutes after having taken my bike at Belgica!
After the event which finished at 19h03 I whent back to the station to take a Villo\! to go back home!
I couldn’t take a new bike!! After several unsuccessful try, I realised that their what’s a Wifi problem at this station! I also realised that y precious ride was still ongoing and didn’t stopped as usual when parking the bike! I was ridding since more than 4h30!!!! In Brussels!!
I walked in order to take another bike but as the app didn’t stop my previous ride, I couldn’t take any other Villo!!!
I am asking you to do the necessary in order to avoid any abuse and align the payment with the real time I used the bike, NOT 4H34!!

Always There when you need it (almost)
True there is the occasion when you are expecting to avoid crowded trams and for some reason Villo won’t work (neither app nor station interface) and that stinks. But largely Villo\! is great, it’s cheap, scattered all over the city, and with the battery the hills of Brussels are digested. The app has a really nice mapping and functionality. Sending reports when there are faulty bikes is easy and they get repaired.

Impossible de débloquer un vélo
J’utilise l’application sur iOS. Impossible de débloquer les villos à proximité d’une station. Il y a systématiquement un message d’erreur « oup’s un problème s’est produit ». J’aimerai signaler ce problème via l’application mais aucune fonction prévue.
Je n’utilise donc le plus le service excédé par la piètre de l’application qui achève d’enterrer celle des villos… Vraiment dommage !

You will not going to be able to cancel afterwards. When you acquire the battery. They say that is going to be sent to your house. Never arrives. Then you need to pick up the battery. The store is always closed. They say that should be open on Saturday. But I tried twice and is always closed. No info in the website and the customer service is also not available when you need.
So. Don’t use those services. There are much better options such tier and dott.
