Vinegar - Tube Cleaner

While the Vinegar extension is great, the Extract extension doesn’t have the audio option available. I think this is a bug. Will put up to five stars once it’s resolved. I’m more than willing to provide proof to reproduce this issue.

I really enjoyed using this extension for most of the time but if only the menu bar (vid resolution selection) would work more stable it would be perfect. Sometimes it just disappears and i have to refresh the webpage so that the menu would show up again. Edit: Although there are little issues here and there, i really like the fact that the developer of this extension is responsive and in touch with his users.

I don’t know why it doesn’t continue playing while I’m on the homescreen/lockscreen of my iPhone 13 mini (iOS 16.1.1). It works on my iPad mini 5th generation (15.7) though. Also, both their auto-play function does not work inside/outside Safari. Why is this? (just to clarify… what I meant by my phone not continuing to play is that it stops when I go to the homepage. I always have to swipe down (control center) then tap the play button COMPARED to the iPad that never stops. I simply just want my phone to do the same. Hope you could help, thank you. This is one of the best Safari extension I’ve ever bought. All my issues were already fixed. Kudos to the developer/developers for fixing the issues when I raise one. 😁

I don’t know how it got broke but I can’t see the progress bar, resolutions, I have the show toolbar enabled. Does this conflict with other content blocker? Because ads keep showing. Edit: It’s working now, seems doesn’t work when Request Desktop Website On is enabled. Updated now to 2.1.2, will check if some ads will pop.

In my iPad, I can use it very well. I can do pip and select the video resolution I want. But for the iPhone, it just shows blank when I choose the always allow. Am I doing something wrong? - edit Thanks for your response! Hopefully the update fixes the issue. I’ll add another star just because of you responding to my feedback. Please continue to be responsive to your users.

Finally, I can see YouTube subtitles in Safari (Fullscreen/PiP). *Not sure if this is possible with a third party app, but my only wish would be more subtitle controls: 1. The ability to disable the fade-in effect for subtitles. Most of the dramas on youtube, their subtitles are poorly timed. They just popup and disappear in a blink. And with the fade-in effect, it makes it worse. 2. It would also be great to be able to offset subtitles or add a 1-second tail or more. The less the subtitle gaps the better, it gives people ample amount of time to completely read them. I hope this is possible with Vinegar. 🙏 Thank you!
