VinFast

Very buggy. You never know if it’s actually going to connect to the car or not. When activating remote climate control, it doesn’t remember the last setting and always defaults to 73F. You cannot turn on the heated seats or steering wheel. The home charger integration only shows current status and will not allow you to schedule charging. You cannot use your phone as a key. Turning on climate control remotely starts the car, but there’s no way to remotely shut the car down. Of course there’s also no way to manually shut the car down in person without locking it either, but that’s more of a car problem than an app problem.

The car is great. The app was initially great. But after three days the car stopped showing real time info in the app. I don’t know if it’s a problem with the software of the car or the app itself. Please fix this issue.

Charging rarely works and if it does it will be after several attempts and useless customer support who ask you “have you tried using a different charger” even though the problem is with the car itself

App works as Tesla. Its been 2 month, no issue! If it does not work, read message a d try to figure it out! Thank you Vinfast

No issues yet. Expecting some growing pains for the new vehicles and app, but not a reason to give low stars. So far so good.

I was happy to be driving a Vinfast but soon learned their app isn’t great. The remote is clunky, the onboard software is laggy, and connection to a vinfast home charger is problematic. Customer support is also lacking. Why there are so many issues when a company is trying to win over new and potentially long-term customers in the luxury EV market is beyond me. Get it right, Vinfast!

Vinfast is suffering the same growing pains as ever other Start Up car manufacturer. How Vinfast could show the world they are a serious player is by investing much more into their software design, repair and implementation. Once the product is made, we, the purchasing public can only decide if the vehicle is worthy of our support and praise is by the things that we interact with daily, the software. This app has all the right potential, but very slow refreshes, fixes, or newer versions. You have a window of implied support as s newer company in the Americas. Don’t waste it, don’t squander our patience. Show us by communicating better, more often, and with details. We are consumers who have chosen to be your customers with our hard earned dollars. Show us you are worthy…….

Please guys, Get the basic right. Climate control need to work reliably. Lock or unlock also need to work reliably. Can we have a status on whether the car is locked or not? Start the car remotely? Watch videos from the car directly from the app? Indicating whether the car has start or not? Etc. Please there are more works and important things to work on instead of rolling out the update like adding “how many trees you have grow” like the recent update in the Vietnamese store version.
