It offers a comprehensive and practical range of products and services covering the majority of species and pathologies. Virbac innovation, based on both technological advances and listening to the customers, relies on reactive production facilities which meet the highest international quality standards. For nearly 50 years, this has allowed the company to build a personalized relationship with veterinarians in every country. Through this privileged partnership, in which social, health and environmental issues come together, Virbac contributes, day after day, to shape the future of animal health. The BackHome App embraces the company’s philosophy using the latest 21st century platforms to provide services to its customers. The BackHome app allows Veterinarians, Pet Owners and Welfare Organisations mobile access to the national database of registered microchips assuring pet owners that if their pets are lost, there is a national resource in place to help them be reunited with their pets as quickly and safely as possible. The BackHome app allows users to look up microchip numbers should a lost pet be found to find the owner and to reunite the pet with its owner. The app enables Vets, Owners and Welfare Organisations to register pets on the national database and store contact information. Pet Owners can keep their pet information updated in an easy to use interface with some added features too. For example, if you are going on holiday, you can create temporary addresses. Registering pets and keeping their information updated is one of the most important things people can do for the welfare of their pets. The BackHome app lets you do that – but it goes beyond that too allowing owners to store other pet information. ## Virbac Backhome Africa Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c4/60/f6/c460f69d-887a-50b4-d632-ac40a6d296b8/8a491a8f-46f0-4be2-9598-5c466acfce87_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-04-04_at_11.54.02.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/45/06/4c/45064c0d-38a0-698e-4f34-ae1f52710b05/d1ef667f-772d-4f2b-89f8-424c94073044_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-04-04_at_11.54.10.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/46/8a/85/468a85d0-551b-f2ed-87ac-66a07145f492/6c012935-d09b-411e-b581-75ea4fe4747a_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-04-04_at_11.54.41.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/93/fd/05/93fd054d-2777-abda-c444-282d4f2ae614/2a4eee59-08a7-4c09-a015-f0757da80c46_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-04-04_at_11.55.11.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/b1/3d/cf/b13dcffa-8878-3b6f-02b1-0a736cac0eb9/760293d9-b316-4568-807f-a9390b9d46e2_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-04-04_at_11.56.55.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/63/70/d5/6370d5e1-1348-6128-3252-8c713a39aa72/4a063764-fe32-4a39-93c9-545717619114_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-04-04_at_11.56.19.png/1242x2688.png) ## Virbac Backhome Africa Rating Breakdown in South Africa - 5 stars: 3 (8%) - 4 stars: 1 (3%) - 3 stars: 1 (3%) - 2 stars: 1 (3%) - 1 stars: 30 (83%) ## Virbac Backhome Africa Reviews in South Africa ### *---- "App doesn’t work" I registered online. Terrible -- SGLC123, 2023-09-08 ### *---- "Virbac does not care about their app or its users" The fact that no one has attended to the complaints in the review shows virbac’s ignorance or lack of interest in their app. They should rather discontinue the app and give clear instruction on how to update pet details -- Faure VS, 2022-11-20 ### *---- "Horrible app" This app wont save my data or allpw me to register! -- AlexK75421, 2022-06-14 ### *---- "Pets not showing as registered" Poor app…and website to boot…none of my animals are showing…and they are all chipped and their chips are active…checked by the vet last week. -- Frustrated_PE, 2022-04-04 ### *---- "Your app is a mess" It doesn’t load properly on Apple devices. And where can I mark the pet as deceased? -- InkyDee, 2021-02-10 ### *---- "Cant even register!" I cannot even get registered. It doesn’t want to accept my password which has all the necessary criteria and if I get that right the ‘Create Account’ button does not work. I can’t get any further than the first page. I really hope this chip works if my dog went missing! -- N Booysen, 2021-01-04 ### *---- "Feels like a bad web version" Not user friendly; difficult to navigate; doesn’t display properly on the screen.
