You think they would try harder to let you give them money
Every time I try to make a payment on the app, I am asked to authenticate my payment. Which is all good to this point, unfortunately when you go back to the app to confirm you are faced with a black screen and no way to do this. Minimise the app and you can see the page but you can’t open it and engage with it. So frustrating!!!
Cannot change booking
App is only showing 2nd booking & cannot access upcoming booking!

Unable to make payments using the app
When attempting to make a payment the app just shows a banner saying it’s unable to take payments. Websites the same, has been like this for weeks.
Not for this virgin Atlantic
Been trying to use this since making my booking last summer - it just says that it doesn’t support the virgin Atlantic holiday I’m on… but no advice on how to make it work. I’ve had to do everything by phone (long waits…) and staff response is “oh yes - the app is terrible!” 9 months on and exactly the same problem- unlikely to be resolved before the holiday now. Given how frequently the flight times have changed I’m terrified about missing the departure if it moves suddenly on the day
Frustrating for making payments
Good app for info and I like the countdown feature.
AWFUL for making payments. Will only let you pay full amount and partial payments created an error page. Tried again today, no error page so feeling hopeful. Returning to the app after authentication of the payment, states ‘refreshing your booking’ then a black screen. Tried a few times but nothing!!
Will have to go and do it in store or try the website which wants to direct you to the app. Virgin Red app is just as frustrating!
Payment Problem
Same problem experienced as others. I have iLhone 14 and after authenticating payment on banking app it goes to a blank screen and have to abort payment.

Can’t pay
Downloaded this app specifically to pay holiday balance as the website was not working (and hasn’t been for a while). Unfortunately this app seems to suffer from the same problems. Very frustrating.
Ok but needs improvement when making payment
App is ok for providing a summary of flights/hotel/countdown days etc.
Poor when trying to make payment, tried to input credit card details multiple times as kept getting black screen saying “refreshing your booking”.
In the end I paid via website so the App was no use at all to pay final balance.
