Always had great features but was a little slow. New update has definitely fixed that, runs fast now.
Easy to use, practical. All in one place.
I thought by the way of how all other virgin services are, that this app matching the credit card would be exemplary too. Although once I found out virgin money is a product supported by NAB it all made sense. This app is slow to update your funds in going and outgoing, so like many banks, it’s really hard to tell what your actual balance is. But the worst part, is that the app has NO function to pay off balances due of your credit card. Such a simple function of paying it back off does not exist, you have to Bpay it from your bank account which takes many days - days to which you have an uncertain balance, whilst transactions are pending etc = confusion on you don’t actually know how much you’ve spent and how much is paid off at any point it time. These features combined with credit card usage, are consumer behaviour manipulation at its finest.
I love the app and earning rewards for my everyday banking. I use the hotel booking feature which is great, prices are competitive with booking.com but I earn points booking through the app. The app has everything I need
Easy to manipulate apps, customer support promptly responds when you msg through the app.
Sending money many time when they send the confirmation code but the keyboard wont come up to input the code. Then you have to close the app and open it again to try again. Sometimes it still doesn’t work and comes up with other errors. Very inconvenient, ruining their reputation
Quick & easy to set up.
This app feels like it’s stuck 10 years ago, it’s slow, clunky and doesn’t update. Trying to track and categorise your spending is frustratingly slow and inaccurate. I’ve spent so much time categorising transactions for them not to save or be updated. Honestly feels like the app has been built by some guy in his bedroom, not a leading national brand.
Always worked as advertised for me :)
