I loved the setup of these accounts and everything about it except the issue is (and it’s a massive issue) sometimes it won’t let you transfer any of your funds because of faults in the app. After re-installing the app the first time it happened it sorted the issue, but this time after the last updates,  nothing has worked so far, I can’t pay any of my bills and despite repeated conversations for over a week IT tickets and assurances that it will be fixed, I’m now on the 7th business day without access to my funds, going to the trouble of getting extensions on overdue bills and having to go through the Bank of Queensland Complaints Department to try and get them to resolve the issue, all while trying to do my own job. It’s just not good enough. They keep saying they’re sorry that it’s a tough situation but nothing is fixed. Will be moving my money to a bank where I don’t have to worry about whether I can make a transaction.

Worst banking app on the market. Due to a glitch I haven’t been able to make transfers out of my accounts. Lodged an IT ticket 4 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything since. Customer support has been appalling

The 32 day lock feature and withdrawal feature are ambiguous and confusing. It’s far too easy to chose the wrong option which unlocks your account (thereby deactivating your bonus interest), instead of simply withdrawing funds. Once the wrong button is pressed you cannot reverse it, even if you speak with Virgins representatives. Terrible for older people who are essentially told ‘too bad’, nothing can be done.
