Virgin Media TV NO GO should be the name of this app. Virgin Media creates all sorts of sub accounts and different passwords every time you try and log onto their various services that you just cannot regulate access to your account via at least two different email addresses. This spiders web of VM created confusion means that you will never be able to sign into the app to watch anything. I can’t as a customer of at least two decades so don’t bother loading this one.

Promises so much and delivers so little. Almost anything you would like to watch you can’t and even if you do find something that plays, it’s then only on a small screen of a phone or iPAD with the option to watch on your Virgin TV… D’oh! if that were possible why would I have the app open. If watching on an Apple TV even less is available so struggling to see the point of this App.
Not connecting
When virgin media box is in standby (red light on) this App will not wake up the box to be able to add recordings or view previous recordings, even though both the App and the media box are on the same WiFi network.
I have to wake up the box using the remote control. Obviously something requires fixing in the App.
When I wake up the box using the remote then everything works as it should.
Come on Virgin, get your App working.
ANNOYING BUG
New bug whereby whenever you are watching a show and switch between apps and return to the show, it does not resume from where you were just now watching - instead it goes back to the beginning of the show and you have to manually find where you were. This is annoying especially if you switch between apps often, or are using Picture in Picture and return to virgin go full screen because you have to manually find where you were every single time, multiple times during 1 show.

App won’t load
I downloaded the app on my iPad Air and had the recommended software version but every time I open the app I get a red screen and then it goes off and back to my home page.

To Virgin
Media on a few occasions . By now we were hoping the Virgin tv go app would be easier to get into and use . Sadly this is not the case . On all devices we get the message , oops not available right now try in a few minutes. This achieved nothing only wasted time . It would also seem this is a regular problem owing to other complaints of the same problem by others attempting to use the app. Thankfully , only on a limited contract so I think it will be sky in future.
