## Virtual Vision Test Description
Still seeing well out of your current glasses or contacts prescription, but now it's expired? Virtual Vision Test by Warby Parker lets you renew it from home in 10 minutes using just your phone! And it starts at just $15.

*Pricing*
- You’ll only be charged if we can renew your prescription
- You’ll hear back from our doctors within 48 hours. If the doctor renews your prescription, you’ll pay just $15. For multiple prescriptions you'll pay $25.
- If they cannot renew your prescription and instead recommend you get an in-person, comprehensive eye exam, you will not be charged.

*Eligibility*
To use Virtual Vision Test, you must meet eligibility requirements set by state regulations and our doctors. Virtual Vision Test is great for anyone who:
- Is between 18 and 65 years old
- Does not live in one of the following states: AK, AZ, AR, CO, CT, DE, DC, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MI, MN, NV, NJ, NM, ND, RI, SC, SD, VA, WA, WV
- Has a single-vision distance Rx (not readers or progressives)
- Has no eye health concerns or symptoms
- Sees well with their current glasses or contacts

How it works!

It’s as simple as reading the eye chart at the doctor’s office—but on your phone. You just need your eyeballs, your glasses or contacts, and your phone.
1. We’ll guide you through a simple (but thorough) eligibility quiz to make sure the app is a good fit for you.
2. If you’re eligible, the app takes you through an equally simple vision test. You'll need to complete it in a quiet, well-lit spot where you have about 10 feet of space.
3. In about 48 hours, an eye doctor will assess your results. If they determine that you're still seeing well out of your current prescription, then the doctor may renew it and you'll pay the $15, or more, if you have multiple prescriptions.

FYI: Virtual Vision Test by Warby Parker is not a comprehensive eye exam and it isn’t meant to replace visits to your eye doctor. It’s important to get your eye health examined periodically, even if you aren’t experiencing any vision problems, so please follow the advice of your doctor. Good to keep those peepers in check.

## Virtual Vision Test Reviews in United States

### *---- "Can’t take the test"
Downloaded the app just to be told I can’t take the exam because of my location. Why can’t I do the test anyway but they dont do the prescription part…
-- carpe_noctum78, 2024-11-28

### ***-- "Convenient but some flaws"
Overall enjoy the option to do this at home. However the first time I took the test and was happy with my results, it then prompted me to log in, and after logging in it reset the test. When I took it again it told me I was in the right spot but after the test said I had “moved quite a bit” and had to retake it again. I had not moved.
-- thereallahmed, 2024-09-21

### **--- "Finicky"
Had to take this test 3 times because twice it decided I’d stepped closer to the camera when I hadn’t moved my feet.
-- App is Nearsighted, 2024-09-10

### *---- "Scam"
Fake test used to take your money
-- Ac2481, 2024-09-08

### *---- "They hide your prescription results behind a paywall"
What a waste of time. They pretend like they’ll tell you what your prescription is after you input all your details and take the test, only to reveal at the last minute that you have to pay to send it to a doctor. Dumb.
-- Wesleybanana, 2024-08-18

### *---- "Maryland?"
Thought it would work in Maryland but can’t get past the location step 😭
-- ❤️✨♾️✨, 2024-06-15

### *---- "Just want vision test"
Just wanted to do a vision test. App won’t let you without going through a bunch of stuff for ordering glasses and knowing your location etc. I just want to try the test.
-- Cptn. Fuzzy Pants, 2024-06-07

### *---- "Told me I needed an in-person exam…"
Denied my prescription renewal, told me I needed an in-person exam. I went to the 1-800-Contacts Online Eye Exam and got my prescription renewed no problem. So, if Warby tells you that you need an in-person exam, try 1-800-Contacts exam for your contact lens renewal!
-- Jwooooowwwwwwww, 2024-06-06

### *---- "Scam"
Absolute scam. Last time I use warby Parker, 15 dollars for a 5 second thing to just get my glasses unscratched that I got last year… absurd
-- Unsatisfied..customer, 2024-06-01

### ****- "Easy, but iPhone only"
Process was really easy, but if I didn’t have a second phone for work (iPhone), I wouldn’t have been able to do this as I operate primarily on Android. Please make this more accessible for everyone.
