## Vitality UK Description
Get connected to Vitality and track your progress towards Active Rewards on the go.

Link your Apple Health and/or an activity tracker to the Vitality Member App to start earning points towards rewards, from a handcrafted drink with Caffè Nero to cinema tickets with ODEON or Vue, on us.

The Vitality Member App allows you to:

* Track Vitality Programme progress
* Provide an overview of the products you have with Vitality
* Track progress towards your Active Rewards including Caffè Nero and ODEON/Vue
* Link multiple devices to track activity including Apple Health, Garmin, Polar, Withings and Fitbit
* Track your Vitality status
* Browse the other partner benefits available to you
* Access to support areas for device linking
* View articles from the latest magazine


Collecting your activity data

If you link Apple Health to the Vitality Member App, step data will be automatically sent to Vitality every 2 hours. Workouts and mindfulness activity data will be sent once the activity has been completed. Other connected devices (such as Garmin) will send activity data once the activity has been completed.

Important Information

You need to be a Vitality member to use this app.

Log into the app using your Member Zone username and password. If you don’t have a Member Zone account yet, register on the app using your Vitality membership number.

The app doesn't work properly. Points don't sync in a reliable way.  Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. All other apps that read this data don't have a problem. If they don't sync you have to go through the annoying process of contacting Vitality. Don't go with Vitality, use BUPA and buy yourself and Apple watch. Save your sanity

Tried to fill in the health review because seemingly the app is useless if you don’t do it. First time I briefly closed the app and all progress was lost. So I started again. At the very end it tells you that the form timed out, so wasted another 15min. Won‘t try again, so no point in the app really.

The app takes beyond 3/4 days when abroad. Then you have to ask for your points to be added. Such a waste of time. Please fix this problem would be very useful

Poorly designed app. 
There’s always a delay with the data syncing e.g. the steps/workouts can sometimes take days to show up on the statement and I have sometimes experienced missing out on rewards due to this. 
More frequently I have been having issues just trying to open the app. I can’t even log in. 
I find it easier to check the Vitality on my watch to see how many steps/activity points I am that day and try to sign in on the app before Sunday in hopes I don’t miss out on any rewards. 
The app does need improving but when it does work it is pretty easy to navigate.

Never able to login to the app rendering it useless. All the times it has worked it never gets your points correct meaning you always have to pay the higher premiums. Funny that! All in all I think that the whole points system is a scam!

OK, the insurance and perks seem fine. But the app? Burn it down and start again would be my advice. Constant relogins, frequent other login issues, very frequent missing points, awkward issue reporting process, slow and confusing navigation. I'd guess with all these issues must be costing a ton to maintain also.

This is the worst app on my phone. And the helpline is even more appalling. Data doesn’t sync it has to be completely shut down and refreshed constantly. And trying to get help is a joke! I’ve just spent 75 minutes of my life waiting for a reply! Losing the will to live I’ve given up. Don’t think you will get the rewards you expect because you won’t because the app is so rubbish.

Points failed to track after a week of signing up and no customer service to help. Tried all of the solutions and now have to manually upload all the points. If you are choosing vitality over other providers because of their ‘incentives’ then don’t bother. You can never achieve the points required without a lot of hassle uploading screen shots every day and having to calculate your own points score.  VITALITY. Fix the app once and for all and I will change my review. Or give me an actual person to contact about this.

Still after at least 3 years of use it still doesn’t sync points efficiently. While Vitality staff are very helpful the fact is if you don’t launch the app on your watch very regularly it doesn’t pick up the points. Leave it more than a couple of weeks between phone app syncs and it just won’t pull the data. Can’t be bothered to claim missing points for minimal rewards. Waste of my time.

I head up a medium sized company in London (about 150 people) and we switched to Vitality Heath about two years ago. We have had so many complaints and on-going issues with the app/provider that we are now in the process of looking for another healthcare provider. Seems to be a bit of a trend, as I know another two companies doing the same thing.

This App fails to do the central thing many, if not all of us want - proper syncing of activities with accurate conversion to points. That’s it! To incentivise a healthy lifestyle yet irritate and stress out customers with this App is a very poor show. Nothing new either - same for years (reviews & own experience). This app clearly has a mind of its own, it’s almost like it’s being managed manually by neurone challenged humans. Sometimes the app updates real time, sometimes it updates within 24 hours and sometimes it takes days to update. And sometimes it just gets it all wrong and one has to waste precious time contacting Vitality with evidence of where it’s gone horribly wrong. Whoever is contracted to manage the operation of this app needs to be called in to question.

The recent update had rendered the app almost useless.  I have to close and then reopen it every time I want to check any of my rewards, points, etc.  I cannot now access free movies as I cannot get to the links in the rewards section. Everything just keeps freezing.  Not impressed Bitalitu - please sort out the bugs in this update ASAP.
