Control your whole system anytime, anywhere, with the touch of a button. Arm and disarm your system and set up custom actions to automate your smart home.
Stay in control, even when you’re away
See and speak with visitors through your doorbell from anywhere with 2-way talk and clear 180x180 HD video. Unlock the door for a guest, change the temperature, turn on Smart Deter, and much more, even if you’re not home.
View live camera feeds and recordings
Keep your home safer with cameras and security that work together. Check on what's happening around your home day and night, and rewatch important events with 30-day DVR recording and Smart Clips.
Save energy
Create custom schedules for your lights and turn them off from anywhere. Adjust your thermostat from your phone to save money, even if you’re away.
Lock and unlock your home
Know your home is secure by checking the status of your smart locks, and lock or unlock your doors with a swipe. Check to see if the garage door is open through the status indicator on the app, and be alerted right away if you happen to leave it open.
Receive alerts and notifications
Know if one of your cameras has deterred a lurker, your garage door was left open, a package has been delivered, and much more.

Vivint cameras
The cameras were great during the day, however, I got them for the night vision that they showed me was so good but honestly, the night vision is horrible. I also have the ring camera. They are 100% clearer.
App is useless
App rarely lets me arm my system or change the temperature on my thermostat…always a “failed command”. Pretty close to cancelling my subscription. There are better security systems/apps for the price I’m currently paying.
App having long open queue
The app has been recently having long delays in opening. This defeats the purpose of security if we can’t see what’s going on in real time waiting for the app to open.
Horrible customer service
Don’t get Vivint. They have horrible customer service and equipment rarely is fully working.
Ring camera
The notice to the phones is always delayed and sometimes don’t come thru at all. Talk to the mic is septic at best.
Horrible service
Equipment failure. Cameras not functioning correctly. Doorbell button fell off 9monyhs ago and still has not been replaced
App does not work good
App this morning will not arm system, other times it will fail trying to disarm. At other times when it’s off WiFi and on cell service it will not even open. App is a minus 5 star…
Scam artists
I ended up with a loan to pay off a single doorbell camera and 5 inch monitor. The sales people say it’s all free and explain the monthly fee will go down after a couple of years or whatever and then next thing you know you got a $2500 loan with citizen bank. I have no idea how They can get you into a loan like that. Anyway, not a bad system if they were so shady.
Never loads like it needs to be updated
App is very slow and won’t load at times it won’t allow you to download the app on android either so I’m not able to share if with other home users either. Very disappointing
