Called tech support, he said that shouldn’t happen. Told me to uninstall the app, reinstall the app and wait one hour (???). I tried that three times. (I know, the definition of crazy). So I deleted the app and will return the water leak sensor. Then I’ll buy the Feit Electric sensor. I have a number of their devices and they all work flawlessly, including initial setup.
