Rubbish at ordering in playlist
Songs are numbered in album, and in title, but when put in playlist they are out of order and can’t be re-arranged. Wasted ages trying to fix, very poor.
Integration with File Explorer = zero.
A great app, but doesn’t have any integration where it should - with the file explorer. Hopefully, it’s a quick fix - for now I’ll have to use another a— to play videos from external drives on iPad Pro. A pity - I hope the devs can incorporate soon! I think VLC is great - it’s just not useful on iPad Pro without access to file explorer to connect to huge external SSDs.

Playlist option has some issues, it does not play the songs correctly.

As crappy as ever, this stupid app keeps stopping even if looping the same track. or either the file runs with no audio.... total junk
Amazing alternative to Apple music
This is the best alternative of Apple music. This allows me to manage my music without the constraint of itunes or other Apple proprietary blackbox. VLC music player works great and is super easy to use. But it is much more than a music player, it can also play videos that you copy from your laptop. Thanks so much for making this app and keeping it alive
Puzzled
What happens with these constant updates, no clue. IPTV (m3u playlist) ❌ ‘playback failed’ Works fine on the laptop version, but laptops are heavier to carry.
AirPlay doesn’t work, only plays audio
AirPlay doesn’t work, comments on the VLC support forum suggest this has been an issue since 2019. That’s 5 years ago and they still haven’t fixed it.
Wifi file transfer
I never review but this is a massive time saver for windows users who don’t want the fuss of converting file formats and using iTunes or Google drive to get videos onto the phone quickly. Also the desktop version has always been my go to. Great tool
