The problem is that it’s automatically deleting video files and downloaded from web, don’t know why that is happening, the videos just disappear whenever I move it there and I don’t see it anymore on my phone

This app saves some of my old devices to throw in the bin. Also how generous the devs are!

VLC is pretty much the first thing I download on any device I get because it’s just so useful and handy. This app is incredible the only thing that it lacks is being able to add more videos/music onto your queue. At least for files on your phone.

On Apple TV, remote playback, playing items locally on TV crashes VLC too often. It’s short videos randomized on loop.

Edit: I’ve been using this app as a main source of music; I really like it. It basically does everything you need it to in terms of a person who only does local files music library. A couple of glitches/bugs I’ve found? 1) My library was rescanned without even commanding it to once. 2) There was a completely different ‘now playing’ interface that popped up when I hit the now playing banner at the bottom. 3) Sometimes the long text will still scroll regardless of it being off or not, in the albums section of an artist (but will stop if you open an album then back out.) 4) & Lastly, if you make a queue of songs and for some reason close the app, when you open it again, your queue will be gone. (Not trying to sound naggy; Just thought I’d bring this to your attention. Will donate soon! ❤️✌🏽)

I have been using this player for almost 3 years now .. it meets all my requirements also play directly from my NAS..
