Works Great
Have had this app for years money so well spent.
Works well but buggy on occasion
Certainly better than remote4vlc but is sometimes buggy - forgets all my bookmarked folders every few weeks. Last update 2 years ago, maybe time for an update ?

Doesn't work with Linux
You'll be able to connect to a Linux VLC instance, and the website has instructions to do so, but it fails to read the directory so it's effectively useless.
Apple Watch?
Good app but silently removed Apple Watch support. I used VLC Remote every day until this change.

Great app.
Great app, but...
...would like to see maybe a lite version. The "wheel"-style scrolling is a bit cumbersome because there are just some many control options on that screen. Fewer features and larger FF/Skip buttons would be a bonus. That said, app works flawlessly.
