Very intuitive and has almost every single feature that you can get with a keyboard and mouse. Nearly perfect. 

Downsides:
-Can't control the audio dynamic compressor with it (like you can with the EQ)
-It's lacking a support site with guides and tutorials.

If those two were addressed I'd give it a perfect 5

Using VLC as the centre of your home media system is a no brainer and this app provides an easy solution to control VLC.  

It's quite powerful and works flawlessly.  The set-up is very simple.
