Prokofiev's vibrant ballet music for Romeo and Juliet takes in the swaggering machismo of the 'Dance of the Knights' known to millions as the theme from The Apprentice.

As the climax of the Edinburgh International Festival each year, the Virgin Money Fireworks Concert is watched by hundreds of thousands of spectators from all across the city. With over 400,000 fireworks launched from the magnificent backdrop of Edinburgh’s iconic Castle, you are set for an evening of explosive entertainment - a feast for the senses with rousing orchestral showpieces performed live by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. The difference is that this time, you’re in control of the fireworks.
