Not only is it missing the most basic of functions, it freezes at least once a day. Only fix is to restart the Apple TV. Multiple chats with VMEDIA support solved nothing. -- TwoBitReviewer, 2025-05-19 ### *---- "Awful: TV pic always hangs on AppleTV; app needs to be restarted most days." I wanted to like this service on Apple TV. (Switched from Rogers when they shut down my old digital cable boxes) But the Vmedia TV video constantly hangs via Apple TV. The picture freezes regularly, and I am looking at a spinning wheel. It’s like YouTube during the early days of Internet dialup. . The Apple TV is hardwired to my router. The Vmedia Internet is fine (no such issues with Netflix or Crave). So this issue is specific to the Vmedia TV service. The hockey games have a 40 second lag vs Roger’s cable. The ability to replay prior shows is cool (for channels and programs that offer it, but it’s confusing to know which ones do. The Vmedia app itself is flaky. It needs to be shutdown and reopened to work properly for most new viewing sessions. -- Buddy9765, 2025-02-17 ### *---- "Update Fail" A new update came out today, the 16th of June, and no longer works on any devices in my house. The app sits for a while before opening, then says no data on the guide. Felt like it was 2017 again when Vmedia was messing around with the Apple os and constantly made the experience worse. -- Scolirk, 2024-07-13 ### *---- "Not happy" I have been with VMedia for some time now and had no problems until 2months ago. I am disconnected all the time. Was sent a new modem but the problem is getting worse . Right now I am trying to watch a football game and I ant get the VMedia to work on my tv and the remote is garbage keeps kicking me to Netflix or tube. I am now forced to watch my phone. I have called in so many times, on hold all the time , calls are always more than an hour. I am not impressed with the sercvice at all any more and I will be switching service real soon!!! -- whatzup103, 2024-07-08 ### **--- "Fix the guide on Apple TV" Ever since the app was updated to show live video feed on the channel while scrolling on the guide, when you stop on any channel to read the summary of the program and the live video feed plays and you then continue to attempt to scroll again, it constantly jumps back to the channel you stopped on that showed the live video feed. So you have to start the scrolling from that previous channel again. Annoying. -- Roberto651975, 2024-06-01 ### ***** "Nice!" Great app -- J.Runcis, 2024-05-14 ### *---- "What happened!" It use to work until this year! -- 223mkpm, 2024-03-02 ### *---- "Apple TV app stopped working" With the recent Apple TV iOS update the app stopped working. Initially could not switch between channels and had to reset it in order to navigate between channels. Would be helpful if the app could be updated! -- wemojunk, 2022-12-10 ### *---- "Can’t access." Will not let me switch users. Tells me that I don’t have a subscription but I do. I can’t change sign in info. Not a good start. Useless. -- Emmalex68, 2022-12-03 [View all VMedia TV reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## VMedia TV Discovered Keywords - watch sports - vmedia tv - live tv streaming - river tv - free iptv - five tv - tv set - drama tv ## Apps Similar to VMedia TV - [CHEK+](https://apptail.io/app/chek-dNy/canada) - [NFB Films](https://apptail.io/app/nfb-films-eiLb/canada) - [Knowledge Network](https://apptail.io/app/knowledge-network-FVRb/canada) - [APTN+](https://apptail.io/app/aptn-PnSb/canada) - [Virgin Plus TV](https://apptail.io/app/virgin-plus-tv-jHoc/canada) - [AMI+](https://apptail.io/app/ami-zihd/canada) - [Knowledge Kids](https://apptail.io/app/knowledge-kids-TONj/canada) - [EBOX TV Mobile](https://apptail.io/app/ebox-tv-mobile-YYXj/canada) - [YES TV](https://apptail.io/app/yes-tv-LMbo/canada) - [Citytv+](https://apptail.io/app/citytv-ApJu/canada) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
