Vocab9Plus is the smart, simple way to learn and master the 500 essential words that appear most frequently in 9+ entrance exams, grammar school tests, and independent school assessments across the UK.
 
Designed for children aged 9–11 (Years 4–6), every word comes with a clear definition, an example sentence, pronunciation guide, synonyms, antonyms, and a helpful memory tip — everything needed to truly understand and remember each word.
 
HOW IT WORKS
 
Words are organised into 5 sets of 100, sorted from easiest to hardest. Each set is split into 5 groups of 20 words — small enough to learn in one sitting, big enough to make real progress.
 
• Set 1 (Easiest): Everyday words like "eager," "honest," and "zone"
• Set 2 (Easy): Building words like "fragrant," "lenient," and "modest"
• Set 3 (Medium): Growing words like "majestic," "colleague," and "cunning"
• Set 4 (Hard): Advanced words like "nonchalant," "obstinate," and "sovereign"
• Set 5 (Hardest): Challenge words like "compassionate," "extraordinary," and "disorientate"
 
LEARN MODE
 
Each word card shows:

• Similar words with strength levels (common, strong, very strong)
