Vodafone Secure Net Reviews
confused.com
I have never been so confused then I have now by Vodafone secure net. Every time it comes up, I cannot get onto the site that I was on what the hell is happening? I have tried to get rid of it but it won’t go. I find no way round it. So I would like somebody to help me get rid of it to me. It’s a waste of space. Yours sincerely. William Michael Patten-Hall.
Protection without explanation
A few others have already said this, but the app will tell you it’s blocked something but with some cryptic message about a device in your own network. That’s it! You can’t look into it further. The app tells you nothing! Apparently you can go online and check further but that also tells you nothing!! What are you blocking on my network? Vodafone would do well to relinquish a little bit of control so that folk who have a bit of savvy can look into it.
Week in week out
Having to log back in weekly absolutely outstanding can’t make it up
Mr Sullivan

Tom
I don’t understand this app at all.
Waste of money
I’ve got Norton. How do I cancel this?
Broken app broken promises
We switched from Plusnet to Vodafone with the offer of better parental controls, surprise surprise outside the cooling off period the app now no longer works, is full of bugs and the last fix was three weeks ago!!!!
Awful service and awful tech
Frustrated
I find this app quite frustrating the reason being I have a low security score. The reason? I haven’t added a child to my account. As I don’t have a child in the household to facilitate this requirement. And there is no way to bypass this. It is very frustrating.
Why?
Ineffective for IPTV and Modern Privacy Features
The Vodafone Secure Net app falls short in several key areas. It blocks IPTV even in default mode, with no option to whitelist services, which disrupts regular streaming. Additionally, it cannot filter kids’ content effectively if they use private relays on iPhones, making it easy for them to bypass controls. The app lacks customization options and fails to adapt to modern privacy features, while support offers little help in resolving these issues.
Until these problems are addressed, the app is not suitable for households relying on IPTV or Apple devices with advanced privacy settings.
What is the point of this app?
It appears to be a vehicle for self congratulation. It doesn’t actually tell you anything useful like the sources of “attack” or what criteria are used to make decisions. I’m also not wild about it searching inside my network. What is done with this data? Why is it collected? This app raises more concerns than it provides reassurance.
