Recorder is the most amazing app for recording audio!
Every time I look at the features and options, it has got more depth, usability, flexibility than any other audio recording app. I have used on the iPhone 14.
The only one that has a feature that Recorder doesn’t, isthe Apple offering, forget what it’s called
The Apple offering will transcribe the text of all people in a meeting, in real time, as well as recording the voices.
That might be a showstopper for me, as it is such a valuable feature, which Recorder doesn’t offer
Other than that, it is brilliant!
Great musical tool
This a fantastic tool for jotting down rough musical ideas… it’s easy and quick to use… and tha quality of recording is exceptional for a phone
Recorder HD
It is not workingbon iOS 13
Where is support?
The “Contact Support Team” leads to a company website offering customer support!
Also I have used this app for several years.
It has a good choice of options to buy, however it is sorely missing an option for Voice Activation.
And we should have the option in the UK to use recorders without the stupid flashing red banner saying “Recording”.
If this is an Apple enforced matter, then why don’t iPhone do the same if we use Siri or anything else where the iPhone spies on users!

Voice recorder
I have had this recorder for some time and have been delighted with its performance. Only criticism is slowness to start recording but this is probably because I have too many files!
Great recorder
Better than most pro recorders!
Paid for features are supposed to transfer between devices
Generally I like this app and find it useful but...
*Files could transfer to cloud services more smoothly with less steps if you could choose an automatic transfer of files, which would save so much time.
However...
* My big bugbear is the fact that paid for features are supposed to transfer between devices using the same Apple ID but don’t seem to. (This issue may be linked fact that files do not sync between devices, but I don’t find that a problem per se.)
I bought this app back in the days of iPad 2. I then tried to transfer ‘Trimming’ to iPad Air and it didn’t appear as ‘purchased’ in the newer iPad.
I now have another newer iPad with which I also can’t get the ‘Trimming’ feature to come up as ‘purchased’.
I’ve tried leaving messages on the support page without a response so I have taken to writing a review! I wonder if there is anyone out there with a solution, please?
Not syncing with iCloud
Syncing is not working. How do I set it up so that all recordings are automatically synced to iCloud?
Recording fails on use w/ Skype
I read online reviews that said this app could be run in the background to record Skype calls if I was using speaker mode so other persons voice could be picked up by mic.
However, after running several tests it appears the recording terminates once the Skype call is connected, or if started after call begins it looks like it has not been started when I go back to the recorder app after the call.
Is this app actually able to record Skype calls? If so, what am I doing wrong?
Works great, sounds great
Great HD recording app, especially at this price. Simple to use and sound quality is excellent.
One thing missing for me is the ability to rotate the UI 180 degrees, so that the interface is the correct way up when holding the phone with the microphone outwards (a la the native voice memos app). With that feature, this would be a 5-star app.
