Voiply Mobile App Reviews

Disappointed by Voiply app.

Diss-app-terry on

United States

Enabling Voiply calls to show up on my cell phone has been a mistake. The app is clunky and irritating, resulting in lost calls and the inability to also answer the call on the handset tied to the Voiply number. So I am going to remove it.

Terrible Quality

Trishan24 on

United States

Cups with strings on them have better signals than this. The call quality was abysmal, and the audio cut as much as scissors. Please fix, and more stars can be rated upon, or they too will start cutting.

Clear and Perfect Service

Old Navy Sailor on

My previous experience with VOIP was nothing to write rave reviews about, but my subscription Voiply Service with its connection device, website menu, and very favorable service price point is outstanding. I highly recommend this service and we are very pleased with the VOIP quality, as well as the Chat Technical Support.

App is ok

Rrricky324 on

Seems to work ok, but doesnt recognize group chat. Not a decent phone replacement. Dont bring your number over unless you never plan on changing providers. They will hold your number hostage.

Excellent update

Previous version was adequate, but nothing to brag about; I didn’t even bother wasting my time with a review. Really like this new version which even includes a TRUE call log version, that you used to only access in a browser, after watching a spinner ‘loading’ circle for quite a while (even on high speed, 80Mb+ Internet). App seems cleaner and more organized, as well. So far, no crashes, stupid quirks, or complaints about it… which is nice when there’s a lot of apps being outright ruined with updates!!

Very bad

Everything works but the voice part

I admit- I haven’t called Voiply yet because I’m too busy and have my cell phone to use but- I one can hear me and I can’t hear them. I get the call, VM works great! We just can’t actually talk via the Voiply service.

Adequate, not Amazing

Biggest gripe is the app doesn’t allow you to access voicemail transcriptions and recordings (they are emailed to you instead). IMHO, this should be a basic/minimum requirement. Unexpected perk is that the Voiply call logs integrate with the iPhone call logs. We also like that home phone number can so SMS now via this app without giving businesses our mobile numbers. Other uses has been fine for us… we have residential home VoIP landline service but can use our iPhones as home phones whether we’re home on wifi or away on cellular data. Our quality problems seem more like problems with our Spectrum internet than with Voiply … service still works via cellular data with this app even when home internet is down/bad and home landlines are down. We moved cross country and kept our old phone number so we didn’t have to sign up for new phone service in our new town and then update all our banks and other providers.
