## Volotic Description
Volotic is an experimental nonlinear sequencer by artist Scott Garner. What does that even mean? It means a fun way to create songs for everyone, with no musical experience required.

In Volotic, you compose a song by arranging a selection of "towers" on a grid. Each tower has a different function for creating beats, modifying beats or triggering instruments.

Here are some points with bullets next to them:

• Over fifty tower types with more on the way.
• A selection of demo compositions to get you started.
• No musical experience is required, preset scales and arpeggios keep things sounding nice.
• Manual tuning for advanced control.
• 3D sound—drag your music to focus on different sections.
• Easily record and share your composition with Everyplay.
• Tons of new towers and handy features in Plus Mode.

Volotic was selected for inclusion in the App Store Best of 2015. Neat!

## Volotic Reviews in United States

### **--- "More work than it’s worth."
Very simplistic and frequently monotonous.
-- Eriptron, 2021-03-08

### ***-- "Lost any ability to save waves or any files sharing."
And no controls for background audio.
-- whyshouldi?, 2019-05-10

### ***** "Love it!"
This app proposes a much more fun way to create music!
-- But So Sad!, 2017-01-15

### *---- "Seriously terrible"
No instructions. No sound(!) (yes I'm unmuted and the sound is maxed) and no play button. No save functionality unless you pay. Not that it matters since you can't hear $*%t coming from my new iPhone 7 plus. Lame. Don't even bother.

Edit: found the instructions buried under "app support" in the app store. They are useless.

### *---- "Boooo!"
Downloaded the app and, apparently, it immediately needs to be updated to its current version (the same version already installed) and literally nothing worked without buying the premium version.
-- A facebook MW user, 2016-10-28

### ****- "Fun for me anyway"
Overall enjoyable.
Unsure why some recent users find it challenging, in a sea of professional mixers this one seems pretty accessible in my view. Also doesn't hold your hand no, but I figured out soon enough. Very colorful way of making music leisurely without a lot of extra jazz. Good for experimenting with sound.
-- Plausibility, 2016-09-19

### *---- "Where is the play button"
Instructions are unclear
-- Salemthegoddess, 2016-08-23

### *---- "Terrible"
Purchases never work
-- Deleted all my progress, 2016-08-05

### ***-- "Bruh"
Bruh, it need to be able to stack different ones on the same space.
-- SayBruhBruh, 2016-06-02

### *---- "0 stars"
Terrible app to not get!!!
