It interfaces with the popular website www.volunteernetworkoc.org to provide information about organizations and people who are dedicated to ending poverty and homelessness in our county. The app also provides real-time information on volunteer opportunities with those organizations. In minutes, you can easily search for events and other volunteer opportunities and then commit to volunteer your time. Volunteer Network OC Helps You Help Others!

Volunteer Network OC is dedicated to helping individuals and families who are in need of food, shelter, clothing, and other basic necessities by connecting volunteers with organizations providing those services. This is accomplished through an inspiring social media platform that makes volunteering easy and accessible to everyone. 

There are four pieces to the puzzle to eradicate poverty and homelessness: (a) non-profit and community organizations who directly serve the poor and homeless populations in Orange County; (b) support organizations, such as food banks, who assist those organizations (together, those organizations and the support organizations are referred to as the “Shelter Community”); (c) donors who fund the activities of the Shelter Community, and (d) volunteers who serve under the guidance of the Shelter Community. 

Volunteer Network OC bridges the gap between you and the Shelter Community through its social media platform. Our goal is to remove the impediments to volunteering. Additionally, Volunteer Network OC provides information about the people who need and deserve your help and the incredible people and organizations serving in the Shelter Community.
