This does a pretty good job. It is not perfect and it really does not know how to express what is typed. The voices are definitely passible. For the year price it is fair. But no expression and sometimes words are just said wrong. The price being $20 for a year saves it. What it lacks is in the price. Not sure who this is targeted at. Yes for pranks and fun. I could see this used for music production. Not singing but things to chop up and use. I will say if you want voice overs for a book or narrative in general this isn't the app. This can be a fun app and the price is right!

Got the free trial. The app worked for about 5 minutes and then the server was down for at least half an hour. Pretty big red flag for me. If that’s my experience in the first few minutes of using the app, why would I pay full price? Canceled right away.

While it was working, it was pretty smooth. Took some forced spaces in the text to get the voice to read with proper grammar and timing but I feel that’s to be expected.
