Annoying marketers won’t let you enjoy the app even on a paid subscription; you’ll see a banner on every app opening urging you to upgrade further and pay more, which seems excessive. The interface does not evolve with the user experience in mind; it isn’t becoming more modern, nicer, or smoother. While copying the preset of a photo, you need to perform unnecessary actions to unselect the photo from which you were copying settings. You still can’t easily maintain your settings. The grid with photos is just inconvenient; you will get lost after just a couple of dozen pics without the ability to organize your space. So the question is: what are we paying for? I don’t see any continuous work from UX designers, but marketers who keep selling what you already bought.
Usually great, but recently it’s been really lagging, slow and not loading my pics. Maybe bc they’re raw? Also the desktop version doesn’t work with CR files which is a tad annoying.
Po posledním updatu strašně pomalý slidery, jak kdyby měly 10 fps, hrozně nepříjemný.. doufám, že bude nějaký fix, jinak dobrá app
I've been a paying subscriber for over 3 years. Recently VSCO started forcefully pushing a new "Pro" membership - spamming me via push notifications and every time I open the app. Why I hate that experience: - makes me feel like a lesser user, because I'm not paying *even more* money. No regard for loyal customers. - the "pro" feature list is ridiculous. A few extra filters, a Web editor (in the future!)... All that for the cost of two regular yearly subscriptions? - it's super confusing, at first I thought my payed membership stopped working, took me a while before I realizes there are two tiers apparently! But they are the same price, so if you activate one later in the year, do you pay two yearly payments at different times? Worst service design I've seen in a long time. Keep that up and I will have to look elsewhere, even though I love using VSCO for editing raw photos.
Making basic tools available only with subscription is a fraud, shame on you.
I’ve been using this app for yeaaars, but after the last update, I think I’m gonna have to switch to something else. I understand filters and presets being paid for, but basic features? Oh come on… especially if they’ve been free for so long. You took a step back for your profit, in my opinion…
Purchased all of the filter packs years ago - now the best of these filters and basic tools are available only with a subscription. So I have to pay for them again?! Used to be my favourite editing app but now I'm going to switch to something else
I loved this app for a really long time.. it’s actually the best app for editing photos. i’m really sad because suddenly you made the best things in there for money. but i want to use the things i used for free again. i don’t want to pay the kinda big price for few things i love. because i don’t need hundreds of filters and stuff. i just want my grain back for free.
Just made years-long free presets and edits available only with subscription. - NO MORE FREE CLARITY, GRAIN and many filters. Like C1 That is a FRAUD for VSCO app users! Shame on you! Whas it even worse now I CAN NOT even edit or save photos edited with those features in past. Goodbey VSCO after +10 years of service.
