It says (not connected to internet) Need some advice thank you -- Woody1980-2011, 2024-10-23 ### ***-- "Up and running" Bought this set up for my 2012 Honda Deauville 700. Once arrived, and bench tested, I spent most of the day working out cable routes and suitable camera positions. It’s taken some time to get used to how the app and the system works. The cameras seem to work great, even the sound quality isn’t too bad. The app though, is terrible. it’s only positive is for changing the camera settings once the bikes ignition is on and camera is live. There really is no point using it to view any video clips, all I get is the spinning wheel of frustration. I have reverted to taking the memory card out, and using my lap top. This seems to work great. Once you open the DCIM in your memory stick icon, you get 2 files, one for front camera and one for the rear. Once one of these are opened, all video clip thumbnails are there to play and save. The date format is confusing, although it does mention this in the instructions. The 6 digits refer to year, month, day ! Not sure if I’m missing something in settings, but it would be nice to have an option to change this to day, month, year. If the developers actually read these reviews, then PLEASE sort the app out so that it’s far more user friendly. -- cdp2503, 2024-01-07 ### *---- "Buyer Beware!!" What an absolutely terrible app. The motorcycle camera system itself seems to be quite well made. Except for one thing. It comes with a remote control you’re supposed to install on the handlebars. The remote control has 2 identical buttons. The instructions say nothing so you have to experiment to find out which button does what. One is supposed to take a picture using both front and rear cameras. The other is supposed to “lock” a file so that it won’t be recorded over. Both buttons appear to do nothing. But it’s the app where things really go south. It’s clunky and difficult to use; files are displayed in a random order, no thumbnails, nothing. And the worst part - they forgot to add the files from the rear camera. So in other words the app makes the whole camera system a complete waste of time and money. I just removed it from my motorcycle today. Do not buy this product; it doesn’t work. -- Toby p7, 2023-05-18 ### ***-- "Ordering of recordings" The app is fine, does the job.
