I was feeling bullish on the thorchain project and decided to try this out. Long story short, I was able to deposit BTC but couldn’t for the life of me send the funds when I wanted them. The signature process consistently failed and after several emails to support, the only help I received was, “go on our discord.” So I did. But they don’t have a strong vetting process for people who can access the threads. I was immediately inundated by scams and, I’ll be honest, one of them was successful. Was it actually the vultisig team that stole my BTC? I don’t know. But it is strange how I could deposit, but not send, was denied technical support and then scammed directly off their discord thread. Don’t get this vault if you value your holds. Took me 2 years to DCA that crypto. Hope it brought someone happiness

What this team is designing here is pretty cool here. There are no seed phrases to write down. No reliance on a third party. The vault is secured by backup shards you store anywhere you like (tho preferably not in the same place!) Maybe different cloud storage, emails, or flash drives. It also is integrated into cross chain dexes like thorchain. It’s a multsigner, so more than one device is needed to move funds, which protects one from scams. Basically makes it very difficult for someone to gain access to your $ compared to your funds being accessible from a 24 word seed written somewhere. I am watching this project with great interest!

I lost everything,didn’t save the recovery info. Or can’t find it. Test pilot expired. And no other options to log in. I think paper wallets are the safest. I dont think there is even a way to look at the accounts. I don’t trust cloud or any copy/paste function with passwords or keys. I didn’t get any warning or eta of beta expiring.
