I don't know how to delete the journals of mine... please lemme know
This used to be an awesome app to journal with your friends, post pictures with the journal and leave comments. Now posting pictures, seeing who’s viewed your journal and leaving comments you supposedly have to pay for premium. I can do more posting this review that I can do on waffle. Not to mention how repetitive the journal entry questions are.
imaging journaling with ur bestie and u have to pay 12 dollars to comment on their post.i mean its great and all but u pay to insert a picture to your own post?!really?bro who gonna pay 125 dollars a year just for a silly app?be for real right know…also the fact that u need to pay to journal in a separate notebook is honestly:yall im tired lf spenfing on an app that i will probably forget about in a few months.as a journaling expert, this doesn’t make sense.like you need to pay to type?im just over it
UPDATE: i suppose all good things must come to an end… it is now very distinctly a “freemium” app, with a cost that increases with the number of journals you have—since i raved so much about the app, i had tons of journals, and the unlimited tier is more than i can afford. none of my friends or family or coworkers are willing to pay that much either, so unfortunately we no longer use the app. i’d give it zero stars if i could. i’ve tried a LOT of journaling apps… probably 97% of the free ones 😅 this is by far THE best one, for so many reasons. i love the concept of a shared journal—i had been keeping a shared note with my friend, but it wasn’t really as efficient as i thought it would be. my mom and i used to have this tiny mailbox that we would leave notes in for each other, and this is exactly that. now that we no longer live together, this is perfect. it’s simple to use, even she can figure it out 😂 it’s beautifully designed and works perfectly. i honestly can’t believe how lovely it is, and it doesn’t even have any ads! there’s no “catch,” this isn’t one of those “freemium” apps that ultimately require a purchase to be any good. that said, now that i have had the privilege of experiencing the app, i’m actually more willing to pay a little to help support them than if i had been forced to do it in order to fully enjoy the app’s features. sato, the developer, is so incredibly nice and uses feedback to immediately improve the app. i love that i’m able to text him for any (app-related) support needed; i work all day, and texting is SO much more convenient than trying to navigate an online form or finding the time for a phone call. overall, i love how waffle allows me to stay in the loop about my friends’ and family’s lives. i work crazy hours and i don’t want to wake people up when i get home at 3 in the morning, but i love to read about their day and the little things they couldn’t share while i was working, or give my thoughts on something when they ask for advice. i also like to share a funny story from work or leave a picture of my cat 😁 it’s really nice that there’s no pressure to write out long entries cataloging every detail of the day; you can interact with it when you have the time and energy, instead of feeling obligated to answer a text right away. and for the days when you want to reach out but just don’t know what to talk about, there is even a list of prompts to choose from!!! this is genuinely one of the best apps i’ve ever had and will st
I downloaded 7 journaling apps to see which would be the best to create journals for my kids as they are growing up. This one by far is the best one I tried out! It is so easy and fast to type in a quick sentence, upload pictures or videos, and be able to have a place for memories. You can also export as a PDF if you want to print it into a book or print out pics and text for easy scrapbooking You can post dates in the past just as easily as the day of. And you can have multiple journals. I have one for each of my kids and I hope they enjoy them when they are grown. I am thoroughly enjoying it now for myself and am so glad this app exists. Thank you so much, Waffle makers!!
BUY IT GET IT SO GOOD
Best and most simple app to use
Perfect for connecting with loved ones as well as a great addition to therapy.
I paid for the plus plan, but it isn’t working, it tells me upgrade even though I already paid for it
So mant features were paywalled, so got premium and could not apply it to our journal at all so I couldnt even try the features to see if it was worth. Then I couldn’t get it refunded?? Just down $80 for no reason
