## Wag! Reviews in United States

### *---- "Terrible app"
Zero customer support. App keeps crashing. Changed my confirmed caregiver without either of our permission.
-- 1024A4096, 2024-12-29

### *---- "Terrible Experience"
Used app to find a boarding caregiver while out of town. The caregiver cancelled less than 24 hours before drop off and WAG did not notify me of the last minute cancellation. I think WAG should have ensured I was fully aware my booking what’s been cancelled. Instead they reopened my booking request in an attempt to find me a new caregiver.
-- LoveleeTX, 2024-12-29

### *---- "App scams customer and dog sitters"
I am a dog sitter on this app and it doesn’t surprise me that the customers are complaining about the quality of sitters. The wages on this app are terrible, legitimately less than minimum wage, and the saying “you get what you pay for” is still true. With wages being so bad the only people who would accept jobs on this app are people who can’t get hired anywhere else, and therefore, are not likely to be good sitters. I signed up for the Rover app (another dog sitting app) and I got paid so much better and saw so many more satisfied clients on that app. I signed up for wag too (just to hopefully get even more clients) and saw nothing but horrible pay (the app saying $5 is too much money for a dog walking job 15 miles away) and unsatisfied customers. Do yourself a favor and use rover and stay away from wag.

### *---- "Unsafe caregiver - wag did nothing"
My caregiver threatened me. Wag won’t even let me talk to a human. I had to call the police. Sick.
-- Clk936, 2024-12-25

### *---- "The worst sitter experience I have ever had."
Judgmental, dramatic and demanding.

Used every word do describe how they felt about my pets accident and demanded a tip for clean up.

I always tip anyway and especially after accidents happen. Had the nerve to cancel and say they needed to leave because it was disgusting and and I had to fly back home on Christmas Eve and still got charged a cancellation fee.
-- FTHISSERVICE, 2024-12-25

### *---- "Abandoned dog"
Dog sitter found on wag left dog alone for very long time. After non response I got a neighbor to help. Wag wasn’t helpful in resolving
This or refunding my money
-- Awful experience 55, 2024-12-22

### *---- "DON’T DO IT"
Absolutely horrendous. Customer service is literally non-existent. You only have a few minutes to choose your own caregiver before one is automatically assigned to you, and then they charge you a fee for cancelling that caregiver. They won’t allow me to speak to a human, presumably because there are no humans to speak to, and I can’t even delete my account! It’s no wonder everyone uses Rover instead, my god.
-- peemree, 2024-12-22

### **--- "Not reliable"
It’s either hit or miss when you request someone to show up, I’ve had only 2 dog walkers that have been great, the problem it seems that they don’t have enough people working for the app. The last 3-4 times I’ve requested a 60 minute walk the app can’t find anyone to take the request. I live in Charlotte NC aka biggest city in NC
-- Gmarine83, 2024-12-21

### *---- "Misleading practices"
My walker accepted a walk then messaged me to say she couldn’t do it. I still got charged. Scam. Also the matching process is pretty frustrating - not a lot of options and you have to make a decision in an hour or they charge you and assign you some random one.
-- Ovenbeard, 2024-12-20

### ***** "Wonderful experience"
Manuel was very professional. He was great with my dog who really liked him. I think that I was fortunate to have such a caring dog walker.
