It takes forever to get a walker and when they cancel your service they don’t even notify you. And there is no number they only work through email. And there resolution is give them a credit for everything no real concern for the animals. The walkers don't read instructions properly and just do whatever they want

I allowed the app to use my location and the actual destination was 40% further than listed. The boarder seems very nice but realizing i have to make an hour trip before my 8 hour trip followed by another hour trip (there and back) was very frustrating. There’s no option to sort by distance (dont know if I’d trust it though) I give it two stars because as a consumer it does land on me- 1. I should double check that the distance is accurate 2. I should verify before hand that i am dropping my dog off beforehand I don’t want to knock the app but I am hoping that whoever is considering to use one of these kinds of apps sees this as and knows to not make the same mistake I did. I had already paid by the time I knew, if I did i would have just had a dog walker stop by for 15$ instead I’m out 50$ and 2 hours :(

They will steal you money by automatically linking you to a care giver that was not of your choice , and even after canceling the service within 10 minutes they will say that you do not meet the requirements for 100% of refund. I’m shocked and disappointed and I do not recommend this company

There are times that it is absolutely urgent that you speak to someone immediately regarding a life situation or an issue that must be resolved. The app for Wag does not allow a REAL PERSON to be contacted. This MUST be an option NO MATTER WHAT. I am completely frustrated after spending hours trying to find some way to get a returned call or an actual living human to resolve my problem, not a menu that asks over and over if my issue had been resolved. This is unacceptable. I have used Wag for the last 2 years on a monthly basis while leaving the state for work. I just returned from Europe for a 2 week time period and the entire 2 weeks there was as issue with the twice a day scheduled walks for my 2 dogs. My dogs are the ones who suffered. The walkers either did not show up, or were 2 hours late. I still have not heard one word back from Wag. Never again will I use this company. I had to waist time in the middle of the night in Europe trying to find someone, a family member or a friend, to stand in. This is, again, completely unacceptable.

I should be able to look up sitter profiles to do search or have a conversation with the person and then select who I want to watch my pup. It was not fair that the only way I could get a request on the app was to waiting for someone to select my request and the person lived an hour away from me. When I tried to cancel on my side the cancellation could only go through with a fee. That’s not right. I should be able to cancel right away.

Do not let anyone from this company get near your pet. Scandals happen through the app every month it seems like and the company tries to cover it up when dogs are injured on walks lost or simply not taken care of. Wag is not trustworthy and I wouldn’t trust them watching my pet rock, let alone my dog.

Be forewarned, this app requires you to give a credit card number and okay an estimated cost prior to knowing who might service your pet. It then makes no provision to cancel or back out the app screens. I had to restart the app just to cancel my scheduling request. It would not let me deactivate the account or delete any of my personal information. If you care about your animal as we do, you’ll want to vet potential caregivers prior to giving credit card information and committing to a cost. There is no option to do this. The app funnels you through oneway screens and when I tried to cancel, or remove personal information is repeatedly gave me error messages. The company now has my personal information with no opportunity to clear the data.
