Really helpful in a fun way. You can learn many aspects of the Japanese language and also about Japan itself. I love the sentence building practise!!! Kanjidex like Pokédex is such a fun idea! ありがとうございます♪

This is the best thing that has happened to japanese learners ever!

Man bekommt hier ganz spielerisch einen Einstieg in die japanische Sprache und Schrift. Um kleinere und größere Aufgaben im Spiel zu erfüllen muss man mit Leuten interagieren und bekommt dabei immer wieder kleine aber prägnante Unterrichtslektionen. Das Gelernte kann man dann im weiteren Spielverlauf gleich praktisch anwenden. Ich hatte sehr großen Spaß damit. Im Spiel finden sich auch Wörterbücher in denen man bereits gelernte Vokabeln und Schriftzeichen einsehen kann, sowie ein Minispiel um Schriftzeichen zu üben. Man kann auch bereits abgeschlossene Lektionen nach Belieben wiederholen. Das Spiel ist aktuell noch recht kurz, soll aber wohl nach und nach erweitert werden: Ich freue mich darauf!

Amazing game to learn Japanese!

This is a pretty great game, the first language learning game that I actually found fun, but the audio isn’t working for me. It worked my first time playing but now there’s just nothing, I checked my volume, Bluetooth, and in game settings, but there’s just nothing. Edit: oh my god right after writing this review I tried flipping the physical “do not disturb” switch on my iPhone and it unmuted the game audio. Why????? Why would you make it work like that? Please change that 😭

This game is amazing, I haven’t gotten super far into it and I already know hiragana and am learning Katakana and some Kanji. This is a perfect addition for anyone looking to learn Japanese and add a little bit more fun into it. Plus it is teaching you super useful things, like immersion but a couple thousand dollars cheaper and people won’t judge you and start speaking English when you didn’t catch what they said the first time in Japanese, you can just replay it and get instant visual feedback with kana and explanations.

One of the best developed learning Japanese RPG games I’ve played so far. Please download and support this game and developer. Can’t wait for them to add more content to this game ! Thank you for your hard work!

This app is fantastic! It makes studying feel like playing a game, which is awesome. It’s definitely for beginners. I’m not a beginner, but I’m still having a great time. I hope they add intermediate and advanced levels in the future.

I’ve been playing this on and off, and I absolutely love it. I’m already (kind of) experienced with Japanese, mostly using duolingo. I’ve played the demo on steam and I loved it, so I got this one finally. It’s super good, I love it. I’ve learned stuff duolingo didn’t teach me at all in the earlier lessons. What I think I really love is how it introduces kanji. It doesn’t give you the reading and then randomly introduces the kanji and hopes you remember, it gives you the kanji and reading at once. And it only gives you the kana that you need for those words so you don’t have to memorize all the other ones you don’t need yet. I’m in love with this app, I really recommend it. It’s helped me a ton.

This game does what so many other learning games wish they could do. It makes learning fun and isn’t super stressful. The grammar explanations for the particles are clear and easy to understand. I love that I can try to rephrase sentences over and over until I get it right without being punished for it. This game really feels like the perfect balance between learning the language and having fun. Something that I thought was impossible to achieve. Absolutely excellent work devs!
