## Wainwrights Description
Explore the fells of the Lake District using an interactive map from OpenStreetMap, with the user's location and grid reference. Track your progress on your personal log. Are you ready for the challenge of climbing the Lake District's Wainwrights?

The 214 Wainwright mountains and hills were established by Alfred Wainwright in his Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells in the 1950s and 1960s.

There is also an option for logging Wainwright's 116 Outlying Fells.

The app supports The Wainwright Society.

An excellent free app for tracking the Wainwrights you’ve climbed. Provides helpful information on each hill/mountain/fell.

Hopefully the developer brings out apps for the outlying fells, Howgills, Dales and North York Moors as well.

When you offer a Share Log and Import Log.  Why oh why have you set it so export the log is in a DIFFERENT FORMAT TO THE IMPORT?  So if you send it to a new device your log WON’T Import.    If you need double spaces after the name for import then add them to the export log.  Then import will work.  Isn’t that BLOODY OBVIOUS???

Living a distance away from the Lakes, my time is precious and which Wainwrights I can bag is limited, so this is a great way to track them! My only suggestion would be to add the rank number of the Wainwrights - so when I’m looking for one I can see the elevation but also whether it’s 5th highest or 150th ☺️

As a long term walker of the Lakeland fells this is a great app to aid planning and, once conquered, recording your progress. The map feature is the most useful screen (IMHO) giving a quick and way of looking what was left and where to base myself for my next trip.

Great app and just what I was after to check off the Wainwrights as I climb them. Great you can put the date it was climbed! Only thing I wish you could do is upload an image (a pic on each summit) would be amazing! But for free - it’s a fantastic app 🤩

This a good way to record fells you have done.
Unfortunately at least one of the details is incorrect, Brim Fell states that it is about a mile from Bannerdale Crags, I think it’s about 20 miles as the crow flies.
