How it works:

• Make your calling card. A few words about yourself, not a 50-question personality quiz.
• Tell us what you're looking for, and we'll find you a match nearby. You'll see their calling card, they'll see yours. If you both accept, the voice call begins, right in the app. Your phone number stays private.
• Talk as long as you like. See if you vibe.
• Hit it off? Mutual likes unlock messaging and a reveal photo.
• No spark? End the call and move on.

I was so tired of endless swiping and snap judgments based on one photo. Wait and See flips the whole thing around — you actually get to know someone before everything’s revealed, and it makes the connection feel real. I’ve had more genuine conversations here in two weeks than in a year on other apps. It takes the pressure off and lets things unfold naturally. Patient, refreshing, and honestly kind of exciting. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something more meaningful than a highlight reel.

I have always pursued myself either talking to, or FaceTiming with, a guy prior to meeting. As a girl, part of it is for safety. The other part though is a ‘vibe check.’ Speaking is so much more personal and tells you more about a person than simply texting. Therefore, one can see why I love the concept of this app, it certainly feels right for me.
