- You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your App Store account settings. When cancelled, access remains active until the end of the current period; no refunds are issued for unused time.

WalkFit is integrated with the Health App to import Steps, Heart Rate, Walking+Running distance data from HealthKit to WalkFit and to write Workout data from WalkFit to the Health App.

This app is a rip off, it pulls you in with ads and promotions without clearly communicating that it will auto renew at a very expensive monthly rate and it’s offering things anyone can do for free! Customer service is awful and refuses to provide refunds to anyone charged without knowing. Save your money, use one of the May free apps that provides workouts, and walk your desired steps! This app doesn’t provide anything new for the user.

Share phone with kids who accidentally downloaded this app. An account was NEVER set up or enabled. The app was never used. No email to say trial period was set to end. This app also does not show up in your apple subscriptions. When refund was requested I was told I did not meet the requirements despite having NEVER even used the app or known it was on my phone. Customer care was terrible and I am currently investigation fraud with both apple and my bank, DO NOT INSTALL this app

This app has helped motivate me a little but a couple of things stop me from giving more stars: 1) integration with music on my phone is clunky and hasn’t worked properly yet. 2) regular walking is my goal right now but the email (not the app) told me today that walking more than 7500 steps reduces DEATH!! This is NOT the way to motivate especially when I signed up because the app/system seemed gentle. I will get there, slowly and surely, thank you very much.

This is actually a really good app overall; however, it’s very frustrating when it constantly asks you to purchase a subscription when you already have.  I use this app daily, and at least once a day I’m being asked to choose a subscription - when I have purchased the premium subscription for $44.  This is a year subscription, so I shouldn’t be asked daily to purchase it.  It locks you out of the app as well, until you enter restore purchase.  I get that it is a glitch in the app, but from reading these reviews, it seems like it has always been a problem.  Disappointing, especially since I do really like this app.

A lot of my walking is done indoors due to inclement weather. I can’t track treadmill time that is focused on the app workout. A way to manually input treadmill data would be wonderful.

I have an Apple Watch and IPhone and this program does not pick up your “walks” of waste time trying to get it to track and money. When you go cancel they charge your credit card saying they have no record of you canceling and say there’s no refund. Complete scam if you don’t like their product. Terrible customer service as they asked me questions on what happened re cancelation then after back and forth said they couldn’t issue a refund, again waste of time. They should be ashamed.

I did not like this app and opted not to continue, thus uninstalling the app weeks prior to my paid trial was over. I noticed a $100 charge (can) on my card from the app and emailed them immediately. They said they had no account under my email. I had to reinstall the app and send them a screen shot of my email on the account, along with screen shots of the charge on my credit card, and other information they requested that was all a huge hassle and should not have been necessary. It took at least ten back-and-forth emails before they told me they can’t refund an auto renew, even though i thought my subscription was cancelled and hadn’t been used it in weeks. 

Don’t do business with this organization.

This app, once activated does not appear in the list of subscriptions purchased. After the initial trial the cost escalates to a whopping $38usd monthly level and auto-renews. The cancellation process is opaque and, as noted, not accessible through the App Store. Billing on my card appears as “Actilech Limited Limassol”. (When traced with some effort this turns out to be a street address in Cypres and a text only web page with a non-functional “Contact us” link - no phone # and no email address). After backtracking to the WalkFit site (no indication of WalklFit as the billing source on my card account) the cancellation process is non-intuitive and results in a series of offers to remain subscribed at de-escalating fees and a final display leaving one uncertain as to whether cancellation has actually taken place)-APPLE NEEDS TO DUMP THIS APP TO PROTECT ITS CUSTOMERS.

Was lead to believe it was a one time charge for the use of the app and the. It charged me the next month double what the first charge was without notifying me first, then refused to refund me when I cancelled it immediately and requested to be refunded. They did however try to bribe me with a free year of the app instead of refunding me. Shady app and not worth the money you pay for it in the first place very basic.

First, it’s a walking app. Go walk. Second, if you sign up for via their website and not the App Store, there are no reminders of your subscription renewal. So, if you do sign up for a trial, be sure to cancel immediately so that you are not charged after the month is up their absurd app rates. This unfortunately happened to me as I sprained my ankle shortly after signing up and completely forgot to unsubscribe because, I never even used the app. I deleted it off my phone after a few weeks and away I went. Then, I was billed $39 USD ($57CAD) out of the bill today. I contacted them the moment I saw the charge applied (before even receiving an invoice), apologized for my absentmindedness and asked if they could possibly provide a refund (less than 1 hour after charged). I was told it is their autonewal policy that is clear and they could not provide a refund but would offer me an entire year free! I admit, I was at fault, so yes, I will pay, but as someone who loves to try new apps but also has a busy world and can forget to turn off auto renewal, I’ve never had any other subscriptions service deny a request like this. With prices like this and offers of a year for the price of one month, I can only imagine they make most of their money because they make it so challenging to cancel. Terrible customer experience. Again, I’m in the wrong here - however a legit company would honor a customer mistake like this one.

Recently I’ve been working on getting back in shape — healthier — and lose some weight. I tend to do my walks indoors and on a treadmill, which most people find boring. But WalkFit is an easy app to use and I love how the workouts vary. Since starting again in January 2025, I don’t think I’ve had the same workout more than twice and they’re never back to back. With the help of WalkFit, I’ve already lost about 10 lbs! I actually look forward to my walking workout before going to work.
The only thing I would change would be to have the ability to adjust the workout lengths to better suit my schedule. I can only do 30 min in the morning and would love a way to keep the workout demands but better fit them to what I have time for.

I should have read reviews before purchasing. You would think this app would be how many steps you need to do per day to hit your weight loss goal. It just gives your exercise videos.
