Every walk is quietly tracked (route, steps, distance, weather) and every thought along the way is saved: voice notes transcribed to text, photos pinned to the exact spot, short written notes. One-time purchase, no subscription. Private by design. Start a walk from the Home Screen widget, keep an eye on it in the Live Activity, and add a note without unlocking your phone. Later, export any walk as a Markdown page with its GPX route, ready for your notes app or your maps. Not sure yet? Open the sample walk and see what a finished walk looks like before you take your first one. Unlike fitness apps, Footnotes avoids cluttered metrics, calorie counts, or competitive goals. It's not about performance or social validation, it's about reflection, presence, and the simple pleasure of walking. A one-time purchase, not another subscription. For the price of a coffee, you get lifetime access to Footnotes, including all future updates and features. No recurring fees. No hidden plans. Your walks and thoughts belong to you, and so does the app. Privacy first. Always. Your routes, notes, and photos never leave your iPhone and your own iCloud. There is no account, no login, and no Footnotes server holding your memories. Sync between devices happens privately through iCloud, only if you want it. Your feedback truly matters, so please consider leaving a rating or sharing suggestions for future updates. We'd love to hear from you! Footnotes is your walking diary: a companion for mindful walking and reflective thinking, where steps meet thoughts. ## Walking Tracker Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/2d/e8/90/2de8909a-f2bf-c6d4-274e-75ec6b054aca/01.png/320x480bb.jpg) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/a5/30/3a/a5303aa2-8f4d-c429-11f5-e2160b911506/02.png/320x480bb.jpg) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/04/cf/58/04cf58a8-d498-458e-bfa1-e38c9748d0b0/03.png/320x480bb.jpg) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/b7/40/ef/b740ef19-bc80-9095-bf88-a6f38b68edae/04.png/320x480bb.jpg) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/f9/13/b6/f913b633-18ee-e875-6255-932da5d364ec/07.png/320x480bb.jpg) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/57/7f/14/577f144d-332c-78f4-06e3-c091fb22dee6/05.png/320x480bb.jpg) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/e7/96/79/e79679e1-3cbc-d50d-71ab-cff92d877197/06.png/320x480bb.jpg) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/7b/bb/cf/7bbbcffa-b689-f03f-40cf-95b75fbfce82/08.png/320x480bb.jpg) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/cc/52/89/cc52896d-3b2d-5669-6f5c-499fc3f1362b/09.png/320x480bb.jpg) - [Screenshot 10](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/7d/23/99/7d23999b-2fc2-877c-6758-2d44f42b7449/10.png/320x480bb.jpg) ## Walking Tracker Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 2 (67%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 1 (33%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Walking Tracker Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/united-states) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/philippines) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/brazil) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/canada) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/colombia) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/ecuador) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/egypt) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/france) - [Ghana](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/ghana) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/greece) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/hong-kong) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/azerbaijan) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/israel) - [Kenya](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/kenya) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/malaysia) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/portugal) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/romania) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/russia) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/taiwan) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/indonesia) - [Brunei](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tracker-footnotes-eOnw/brunei) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
