Time well spent

Chrizy622 on

We had a great time walking and learning about Portland. Lots of fun photo ops. We stopped in at Kelly’s Irish Pub and the staff there were so friendly. The manager gave us a tour of the cigar room and the upstairs event space. Really cool spot and great beers. The line for Voodoo Doughnuts was short so we had to stop and give it a try. Did not disappoint.

Great way to explore a new city!

We love doing a city tour any time we visit a new place. We were headed to Portland, OR and I couldn’t find anything that looked good for us and our kid, since a lot of the local tour options were brewery-based/21+. I somehow stumbled across Walkntours and decided to give it a go. We all really enjoyed the tour! It was a good mix of history, photo-ops, and food stops. The amount of walking was manageable and the pace was right on point for us. Looking forward to trying the San Francisco one next.

Bad experience

boredmamahp on

We bought two audio tours for Selma, AL National Historic Trail. We could not find an address to put in GPS of the starting location of tour. My friend emailed the address from our confirmation and were given the wrong address and then a a screenshot of a location in Boston. We finally learned that the starting address is inside the tour once you open it. We had not started tour yet because we weren’t even there. It would make much more sense to include the address of the Depot (where tour starts)in the confirmation email. Another comment: when we finally found the Depot we went inside to use restroom. The docent there was upset that this app is making money off the history of Selma when they have the NHT signs and QR code with same/similar tour for free. So bottom line, if you want to learn more about Bloody Sunday, I recommend talking to the locals and stopping in the Southern Interpretive Center for maps of key sites.

Not for a group

It was a good idea but not for a group. We were always off and the narrator walked to fast. It would help if he had you pause in between attractions for a group

Amazing innovative app! Love the freedom it gives you.

A total knock out (Spirit of Detroit). Flawless. Couldn’t be more grateful for the experience or the window of opportunity this app opens. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!

Salem Witch History

We bought this app on Groupon to have a walking tour for our family of 5 on a budget. The voice was excellent, the history was interesting and the map was so useful! I hope they do Acadia National Park in the future!

Terrible!

Freedom trail Boston

This was a fabulous tour guide! So many interesting details and funny too. The 6 dollar price certainly beat all the person tours and we did not feel like we missed anything
