## Wander Description
Wander is a markdown editor that respects your files. Your notes stay plain markdown in folders you control: no account, no lock-in, no cloud required. What you see is what lands on disk, byte for byte.

Write in a clean WYSIWYG editor, where bold looks bold and headings look like headings, while the file on disk stays tidy markdown with clean diffs. Images render in place too, so a note with photos reads like a page, not a preview pane. Open any folder of markdown and start writing; Wander reads and writes standard files, so nothing you open is trapped in the app.

• Monthly or yearly. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings

### ***** "It gives me the closest experience to Typora I’ve found on iPad"
Wander is probably the closest thing to Typora I’ve found on the ipad. The combination of WYSIWYG Markdown, math rendering, and the ability to edit .md files directly in the Files app is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It fits perfectly into my workflow on Mac and truly activate my ipad.

One small feature suggestion: I’d love an option to center the editor column on iPad, or to customize the left/right margins independently. Even with a content width option, the text still feels a little too far to the left on a large iPad screen. A centered writing layout would make the experience nearly perfect.

Really impressive app, especially considering how those features are combined in one on iPad.

I hardly ever write reviews, honestly, but this app almost requires it. A lot of markdown editors are released every single day, and while there are some more polished ones than Wander, none are as feature‑rich while also maintaining simple usefulness. What’s more, it’s incredibly simple and works on every single device I own. Many markdown editors are only on Mac or only on iPhone, but this works well across all of them.

I’ve been using it all day, and it’s really excellent—deserving a full five‑star review once it gets more polished and is developed further. This developer deserves support because it’s one of the only markdown editors I’ve used in the past couple of years that actually does what it says it will and then gets out of your way. I’m quite impressed.

I’ve bounced around lots of apps - Scrivener, Ulysses, ia Writer, Bear, others. I just wanted something that works, does not store my files in a propriety format. Of all of them, I’m hooked on the ‘just works’ that Wanders offers.
