When I first downloaded and started using Wanderlog, I thought it was a little confusing and complicated. But I stuck with it and got the hang of it and I’m so glad I did! It was great to populate the overview section with ideas and plans for each location that we were visiting, and then slide the things we actually did into the itinerary for each day. It’s a fun way to document what we did and so that I can give recommendations to friends and family later. I also loved the fact that I could get directions to each thing we planned right in the app. And so handy to have all of the flight and hotel information organized into an easy-to-access place. I loved Wanderlog and will definitely use it to plan, organize, and conduct my next trip!
Makes planning fun and traveling a breeze...
...the way I used to "organize" the intricacies and details of family vacations is too embarrassing to elaborate on, especially since I have adhd, am type A and an enneagram 8 😅 - so anyways! This app has been so helpful and made traveling really effortless when it comes to needing the pertinent info quickly and easily. And I'm only using the free version! Feels like I am finally executing the planning of a family vacation the way my brain desperately needs 😃😃
Waste of money
I had an extremely disappointing experience using this travel app while in Japan. The so-called “optimized routes” were anything but—they frequently led me in circles, wasting valuable time. On top of that, the app entered incorrect information for my flight, which resulted in me missing it and incurring an additional $600 expense.
The app also struggled with basic functionality, such as inputting accurate addresses, forcing me to switch to Google Maps and manually save my own routes for better optimization. Ultimately, the platform caused more frustration than convenience.
I would not recommend this app to anyone. It’s unreliable, costly, and frustrating to use. I strongly advise sticking with more reliable tools like Google Maps to avoid similar issues.
Easy Planning in One Spot
Great app, the fact that you can forward your emails for your hotels and trains to the app is amazing. Only thing that kind of needs work in that if you don’t completely close the app and let it sit in the background it starts to act a little fun when you use it again. However, closing out the app and opening it again is still worth using because of how easy makes everything! So a small price to pay
Wonderful App
Don’t know how we would’ve made it without Wanderlog!!! Great and so easy to use. Listed places of interest and you were able to add to your itinerary , optimize your route, and change your route as you wished….add tickets or other attachments. It tells you how far a drive/how long to your destinations. Such an incredibly useful tool as we drove thru New Zealand. I would most definitely recommend!
glitches all the time
I download it a few weeks ago and it kept glitching and taking me out of maps or places i was looking at. i like all of the features so far but it just seems i’m unable to use them as the app glitches too much
looks great, can’t do anything
my friend sent this to use. Just trying to upload a Bar location and none of the searches are for places. just map locations…so odd. useless to me
HUGE FAN!
This app has done a phenomenal job streamlining my upcoming trips without much of my own manual input. Details come through the app mining email and everything is tracked so well. Absolutely recommend!
Essential tool for trip planning
This app is wonderful. It made organizing my trip and building an itinerary so easy and enjoyable. The google maps integration was incredibly helpful. Would love to see some AI features in the future as far as making suggestion on additional activities / places based on your preferences.
Onboarding too long
The onboarding process is insanely long. Then when I finished it, it started another separate onboarding process showing me tips. Just let me use the app. I gave up I just want to start planning not be asked questions
