SEE IT ON A MAP
Every time you add a place to visit, it’s immediately pinned on your Google Maps-based travel map. No need to pull up different travel apps and websites to organize plans and see them on a map - you can do it all in the Wanderlog trip planner app! Plus, if you’re visiting points in order, lines will connect the different pins on the map so you can see your route (perfect for road trips!). You can also export all your places to Google Maps too.
STORE PLANS OFFLINE
All your plans are automatically stored offline on the Wanderlog travel planner app - especially helpful during a road trip with poor signal and international travel.
GET ON THE ROAD
Looking for a road trip planner? Travelers can plan their trips and stops with Wanderlog. See your route on a map, or try our route optimizer to automatically rearrange and plan your route to save travel time. See estimated times & distance traveled between places to make sure it all fits, and total time and distance traveled for a given day to make sure you’re not driving too long. Plus, you can add unlimited stops along your road trip for free.
COLLABORATE WITH FRIENDS
For group travel planning, add your tripmates with their email address or by sharing a link to the itinerary. Like for Google Docs, everyone can collaborate in real-time. Set permissions and choose whether people can edit or just view your travel plans.
STAY ORGANIZED
Access flights, hotels, and attractions in one app. Forward flight and hotel confirmation emails to import them directly into your trip plan, or connect your Gmail to automatically add them. Prefer to keep high-level plans? Make generic lists like ‘Things to do’ and ‘Restaurants’ you want to eat at. Traveling on a tight schedule and want to create a detailed itinerary? Organize your day by adding start (and end) times, perfect for keeping track of tickets and reservations.
GET INSPIRATION & INFORMATION
For each place, see key info like a description and picture of the place, average user ratings with links to reviews, opening hours, address, website, and phone number. Stay inspired by exploring top travel guides from the web that feature viewpoints, attractions, and restaurants, and from lists from Google Trips and Google Travel, as well as by other Wanderlog users, and add things to do from those guides to your trip plan with 1 click.
CONTROL YOUR SPENDING
Set a budget for yourself or a group. Take control of your spending and keep track of all expenses. For a group trip, split a bill with other people and easily calculate the cost. Keep a record of who paid for what, how much everyone owes, and settle debts between tripmates.

Good potential, but has to update the interface

ner783 on

New Zealand

I love this app, as it has almost everything that you need to plan any trip. The problem is confusing user interface, with a lot of pop-ups that appear suddenly and overlap necessary information. It’s hard to understand how to use it at first and you need to kinda get use to the things, which is annoying. The list of the places works weird, as at first you add there places you want to visit and if you want to drag them to specific date they just got removed from there. It feels that website has a better ux, than the app. I wanted to buy the app to contribute to the team, but the promo is SO WEIRDLY EXPENSIVE that I prefer to use free version and still have all the main functionality. Who would pay that amount of money just to get additional one or two features, when the app works fine even at the free version? You should create different price plans.

Ingenious app

Great way to get relevant recommendations and also makes route planning so easy with the ability to see all the sites on the map. Seamless with google maps!

Great App for Holiday Planning

Great little App for holiday planning. Very easy to use to create an itinerary, add in sights and activities (incl like for travel directions etc). The App also provides transport information, allows for budgets etc.

Great trip planner

wrm1127 on

New Zealand

This is probably the best trip planner I have ever used. However, I found it’s extremely slow recently when I editing my trip. Not sure it’s because I have added too many places. Think they might need to upgrade their servers. It’s frozen all the time. Wish could sort out this issues soon

So handy

Really helped with both the planning and execution of my trip. Flight and accommodation details easy to forward and then available for reference so I knew where I should be and when.

Really good but really difficult to use

Jaisah on

New Zealand

The user interface is so busy and performing simple tasks requires far too many taps and even viewing the map is a bother because by default it shows ever activity that you have added to your trip instead of just the ones that are relevant for that day. You can go into the filters and turn off the other days but this is a hassle and still doesn’t seem to turn off the markers. The whole UI is just a mess really. Also when I search for something, I don’t need results from half way around the world, just results for the location that I am in or planning to be in. It could be a really good app but it’s made frustrating due to the messy UI and poor user friendliness. I actually think the core functionality is fantastic but I just wish it had an overhaul of the UI to make it a bit cleaner, less cluttered and more user friendly.

No ferry travel option

Sbygate on

New Zealand

I have only recently got the app, my only critique is that when adding in travel they do not have a ferry option, because I am planning a trip around Europe and Ferry is the main mode of transport around the Greek islands, I have had to enter the Ferry travel details in notes in seperate area to the rest of my travel.

Shareable

I liked using the app as I was a solo traveller so being able to share my journey with family was great. Worked out how to change my itinerary around was great. I have other travel planned so will use it again.

Fantastic planning tool

Brilliant app to plan your trip. Creating lists and your itinerary and seeing them on maps is super helpful. Couple of wishlists to convert me to buying the pro version - Allow tags or querying by tags or list names Allow filtering by time Inline images in notes Quarterly license as a compromise between the yearly license and expensive monthly license for people who take their vacation during a certain period of the year

Great itinerary planning app

Rubbishappprgfhi on

New Zealand

Used this app to plan a 2 week holiday to Japan. We really useful to plan things from a high level perspective down to the finer details and planning. Link to open in other map apps was very helpful. Good options to move itinerary around during the planning and to add other items. Suggestions for places were helpful as well as hints when accommodation was still needing to be booked. Great functionality even without subscription. Would highly recommend.
