SEE IT ON A MAP
Every time you add a place to visit, it’s immediately pinned on your Google Maps-based travel map. No need to pull up different travel apps and websites to organize plans and see them on a map - you can do it all in the Wanderlog trip planner app! Plus, if you’re visiting points in order, lines will connect the different pins on the map so you can see your route (perfect for road trips!). You can also export all your places to Google Maps too.
STORE PLANS OFFLINE
All your plans are automatically stored offline on the Wanderlog travel planner app - especially helpful during a road trip with poor signal and international travel.
GET ON THE ROAD
Looking for a road trip planner? Travelers can plan their trips and stops with Wanderlog. See your route on a map, or try our route optimizer to automatically rearrange and plan your route to save travel time. See estimated times & distance traveled between places to make sure it all fits, and total time and distance traveled for a given day to make sure you’re not driving too long. Plus, you can add unlimited stops along your road trip for free.
COLLABORATE WITH FRIENDS
For group travel planning, add your tripmates with their email address or by sharing a link to the itinerary. Like for Google Docs, everyone can collaborate in real-time. Set permissions and choose whether people can edit or just view your travel plans.
STAY ORGANIZED
Access flights, hotels, and attractions in one app. Forward flight and hotel confirmation emails to import them directly into your trip plan, or connect your Gmail to automatically add them. Prefer to keep high-level plans? Make generic lists like ‘Things to do’ and ‘Restaurants’ you want to eat at. Traveling on a tight schedule and want to create a detailed itinerary? Organize your day by adding start (and end) times, perfect for keeping track of tickets and reservations.
GET INSPIRATION & INFORMATION
For each place, see key info like a description and picture of the place, average user ratings with links to reviews, opening hours, address, website, and phone number. Stay inspired by exploring top travel guides from the web that feature viewpoints, attractions, and restaurants, and from lists from Google Trips and Google Travel, as well as by other Wanderlog users, and add things to do from those guides to your trip plan with 1 click.
CONTROL YOUR SPENDING
Set a budget for yourself or a group. Take control of your spending and keep track of all expenses. For a group trip, split a bill with other people and easily calculate the cost. Keep a record of who paid for what, how much everyone owes, and settle debts between tripmates.

Really impressive travel app
Impressive travel app with many useful features for planning and executing travel activities. So many useful features, only improvement would be on the expenses section allowing for more enhanced budgeting e.g set budgets for HOTEL/FOOD/GROCERIES instead of one large budget.
Still the 100s of features in the app would warrant a 6 star review if possible as it makes planning travels that bit less cumbersome & the pro membership integration is well worth the cost (as the app developers have clearly put in lots of hard work to include so many useful features in one app).
The best travel planning app
Even without paying for the subscription, this is the most helpful and user friendly trip planning app on the App Store. Love the Google Maps tool. Definitely recommend if you’re someone like me who is Type A when planning trips, or someone who wants to be more organised
Useful trip planning tool
I like that it suggests key places to visit and links to reviews. Seeing all sites and restaurants on a map is useful to plan each day’s itinerary. I haven't perfected my use of the app to easily move things around. It would be helpful to have a feature to tick things off as they are completed.
Amazing app so many amenities for travel !
You need this app for travel, it’s slightly jumpy on older iPad I’ve found but am sure it works perfectly on newer models, honestly planning my whole trip on it!
Great for tips and organising
Stores all flight, transfer and hotel information in one place with tips and ideas for your trip. Great for those who book their own trips so it’s all in one handy place
Great app!
Such a great app! One thing I wish was a feature, where you can auto fill your day, it would be good if it used things only from your places to visit list!
Holiday
Youse this app for the first time to plan a trip to New York. We have never been before and we didn’t have a clue where things were. This app is brilliant. I put in everything for each day we wanted to do then moved things into order. We used the app the whole time for directions from one place to another and it was perfect. I would highly recommend it, without it we would have been lost.
Trip to Japan
First time using this app it’s very Practical and easy to setup.
Will give reviews after my trip
Useful but lots of room for improvement
I don’t usually leave app reviews but since I’ve paid for the pro version it seems right to do so in this case. I suspect some of my qualms stem from not yet having spent enough time playing with the app but a few things come to mind: 1. It doesn’t seem to be possible to just search for a place on the app without adding it to the itinerary. 2. Once you add a new place, it automatically goes to the bottom of that day - this is not a major issue but if you’re planning to visit that place on a different day then it becomes clunky to move it etc. 3. It would be useful to have some way of ticking off places one has already visited. This is particularly helpful in places with non-English names (I am using this in Korea where many of the names have similar spelling and I am often looking back to check I am not going to a place I have visited before). Just a few points - am sure more will pop up along the way, will adjust the rating accordingly.
Incredible travel planning app
Best app I’ve downloaded - doesn’t eradicate all research to be done before travelling but makes organisation 100x easier. The customisation is top tier; I’m vegan and able to easily highlight vegan restaurants and “omni” restaurants so I know where to take different travelling partners. The map and itinerary are also fab, really feels like they’ve thought of everything. Have seen a couple of reviews saying it’s complicated, but I think it couldn’t be simpler and still allow you to customise and plan to the same level of detail needed for a well thought out holiday.
Nice to adds: “guests” for certain parts or activities of the holiday so people can view only what pertains to them
Also think to get more “pro” members could be worth encouraging people to create a map of restaurants & activities in their own city, either bucket lists or with personal reviews (could make recent reviews public to build a community aspect?). Could easily do that now just not a targeted use for the app yet.
10/10 app regardless.
