Now while trying to play their premier even “Delta” the game keeps freezing for everybody because the servers can’t keep up with the event. 10 years ago it was pretty fun, but not so now. Maybe that’s why it’s one of the lowest ranked games on iTunes. -- GerCook, 2025-08-13 ### *---- "Dumpster" War of Nations is a pay-to-win trainwreck that exposes Garden City Games’ gross incompetence in managing a game they didn’t even create. After buying the title, they’ve turned it into a predatory cash grab, with mechanics blatantly rigged to favor players who buy premium bundles. Free-to-play players are stuck in an endless grind, unable to compete with those who pay for overpowered commanders and resources, making strategy a joke and fairness nonexistent. Garden City’s handling of the game is a masterclass in failure. Updates are a disaster, rolling out buggy, half-baked features and recycled content that feel like an afterthought. The Alliance Base, for instance, is a clunky mess, riddled with glitches that go unfixed for months. Players report crashes, exploits, and broken mechanics, but Garden City does nothing, leaving the community to fend for itself. The Discord channel, supposedly for community engagement, is a wasteland; devs dodge player feedback and questions, only showing up to peddle new bundles before vanishing. proving Garden City has zero interest in fostering a playable environment. Rather than improve the game they acquired, Garden City has let it rot, prioritizing monetization over quality. Their refusal to fix bugs, balance gameplay, or engage with players shows a level of neglect that borders on contempt. War of Nations isn’t a strategy game—it’s a mismanaged cash machine, run into the ground by devs who can’t or won’t do their job. There are certain players that cheat by creating alternate accounts using multiple devices and feed off those accounts to rank better and hence get better prizes. Customer service has been provided screenshot pictures of the cheating along with details to stomp out the cheating and they do absolutely nothing except the same generic response it’s forwarded to proper dept and the same cheating continues.
