Cookies notice every time I open the app

Jamie P. on

I am presented with a cookie notice every time I open the app. Every time I choose “decline all”. And every time i am again asked about cookies. Unfortunate that WP can’t get this right.

WP- what I think is missing…..

SadKidsCrying on

First of all I’m terribly fond of your newspaper & spent everyday reading it! The lengthy in depth analysis gives the reader a thorough insight in the subject of the articles. But (in my view): the often lengthy and very detailed articles forces the reader to read it all in order to get a complete picture. This is very time consuming and therefore a disadvantage. I would very much like an article to get preseded by a kind of ‘management’- summary wherin all important aspects of the articles are mentioned whereby the reader can discriminate if he is interested in all underlying details.

Largest Type too small

sll the nicknames are taken! on

Ridiculous that the largest setting for type gets you up to about 9-10 point size.

Unclear and search function basically doesn’t work

Afloop on

Good articles but design could improve. What they definitely need to work on is the search function. This basically doesn’t allow you to find anything. For instance, I want to open an article I am reading in the app instead of the iPhone browser, but it is impossible to find in the app. Even when copy pasting the article title 1-1 you can’t find it, neither through a few words or searching the author. Quite (very) frustrating.

Pretty good!

onesixright on

I like it. What could be better is the way of finding back your comments (and potential reply’s). That’s pretty cumbersome. Another thing that I miss is “subscribe” to a news story, so future updates you will be notified (on the same subject). Other then that, kudos to the WP.

No advertisements in the app please

WZAWZDB423 on

Please update the app so that you don’t get any advertisements when you are a subscriber. I just subscribed to the Post but when I read an article now I get advertisements (sometimes for newsletters from the post but even those are annoying). But the journalism is great!

Good app, but why the spacers?

daanodinot on

I like the app in general, but why are there still huge spacers between sections even when there are no ads?

Independent news-gathering

KeesOvergaauw on

For me in the Netherlands this is the perfect medium to stay informed on the news in the USA!! As far as I can judge with a broad and not coloured spectrum!! Kees

The best of the best

In these dark times we need light. In stead of lies we need truth, which WP provides. Thx
