The WP deducts the sub from my account every month but I can’t read the articles. A window comes up asking me to sign in. I sign in. A window pops up thanking me for signing in. I tap on an article and the window comes up asking me to sign in again. And again. And again.
The Help service proves impossible to negotiate.
Audio for most articles
This is a really great feature.
Nearly brilliant
My go-to for in-depth coverage of US national political news. Still features some great stories and writers. But I would trade a bit of the pieces that basically respond to what US politicians and others are saying with more coverage on what other countries are doing, especially in Asia.

Even after being a paid subscriber, ads still exist
Informative without talking down to the reader
Informative without talking down to the reader. A good balance between photos and text. Above all the news does not preach but presents the facts objectively.
Too busy
The old app was simpler and easier to use. I can see them going for a more newspaper type look here. Unfortunately it’s too blurred. The photo backgrounds of the last app made it easier to navigate and was better for an app. This new one is trying to do too much and it doesn’t do it very well. Feels closer to CNN now and that app is not good either. It has potential, if they do an update to bring the flow back to the older (slower) scroll, otherwise I’ll be going back to CNN.
Can’t log in on phone
I’ve set password repeatedly. It still tells me to re enter Anna will not let me in. I can see it on laptop but not phone.
Why have it off I can’t use it most of the time. I’ll delete subscription at the end if agreement.
Not impressed with the WP techies. My 21 year old brand new software engineer is better than your team.
Washington Post
A well produced paper that continues to have a fresh take on stories most days. I live in NZ and take papers from several countries. The WP is my 1st go to for American stories + interesting and well researched magazine articles.
Great site
Superb
App freezes
Could be my iPhone 8+ but have had the app freeze on me numerous times. To get it working I have turn my phone off and on. Quite frustrating.
