I have had for many reason started up with reading newspaper and was about to use it for my research, but before doing so, as is my best friend, I paused for a while to listen to him. You may not yourself be in the habit of taking this small precaution to avoid search at some highly inappropriate moment, but I always have been and can vouch that it is common practice amongst many professionals.
Thank you so much

Wish it could open in the story it was closed in
The app is fine. I just wish there were a setting that allowed it to open in the story I was reading when I closed it. It always opens at the top of the home page, so I can’t leave a story and go back to it later. If this is possible, I would love to know how.
Independent and trustworthy
That’s why I read WP
Important and impressive
The Washington Post is really an important bulwark against the rising tide of disinformation and authoritarianism. It is impressive in its content and style, ranging from its political coverage to lifestyle and culture articles. Makes my brain as well as our society better!
Excellent content but clunky, inefficient interface and organization
While I greatly appreciate access to the whole magazine and archive articles, the messy interface and layout disturbs me profoundly. I miss the sleek alternative app with news highlights in each section; this one is a throwback to paper editions in the 90’s, and definitely not in a positive sense.
Great to read a broad range of news from Europe!
I wanted a newspaper in English and was divided if i pich the Guardian or other and was offered to subscribe to the Post. I do not regret this. It is also good to maintain my English but read about politics, society, technology with other eyes, the US. My Highliy recommendations to read the Post! Roberto

Reliable and trustworthy
As a Scandinavian, interested in US politics , I go to WP for real journalism to combat all the fake news out there.
We need WP
These are difficult times. WP is needed to get the facts and stories out. It needs courage to write these stories.
We need you
Best regards

Fatal flaws
In general the app does exactly what you expect it to and does it well, but there are a few things that caused me to cancel my subscription:
I will press a link and it sends me to browser instead of the app (from the app!) and tells me I need to subscribe.
When I go on to see if I can log in it asks me to subscribe for $29 per year, when I already pay $10 per month!
Smaller detail but also annoying is that links from emails open in browser and not in app.
