Free press for free speech?

Expat Constitutionalist on

The WP has been a DC elitist, partisan driven « news » source for decades as is their right that no one should deny or deny them their rights to be. Free press, free speech, an understanding of what « rule of law equally for all citizens » actually means (emotional, ideological opinions or as laws have actually been written and which are actually enforced equally or not). Choices. The fact that most Americans aren’t members of the ideological DC dwelling elite experts is also true. Elections outcomes will decide whose voices prevail as it should be in a Republic like ours.

Kudos to Chris Richards

I thought God had lost interest in answering prayers since Malachi, but here he answers one of my minor ones: a Washington Post music critic has trashed Taylor Swift's latest album, and in delightful style! Enjoy.

The news as it should be reported

GP2 Racing on

There is so much information out there that is not fact checked or even real. So it great to have a news source that is serious and professional.

Broad & intelligent coverage

Ioanaworld2 on

Just my favorite international newspaper

Better than expected.

goldenewok on

I subscribe from Australia, the WP gives the DNC view of America with extensive reader comments , an insight into what is driving the current administration.

Listen too!

htjugfdg on

Best newspaper, constantly updated and you can listen to all articles!

Good content bad UX and ugly ads

P45C4L on

Paid subscription should be ad free, or at least propose a reader friendly view. Those ads really negatively impact trust in the work of journalists.

Daily newsletter

tttrtttrrrr on

Annoying that the daily letter sent to me doesn’t link to my account and let me read the article as with other news services

Bias

krokogator on

If you are looking for an unbiased newspaper, keep on looking. I do not like the attempts to be manipulated from right or left, I want facts! No opinions. WP is too heavy on the left side.

Best US paper and maybe the best in the world

JayfromGeneva on

I scan at least a dozen newspapers a day - the best the English-speaking world has to offer - and it’s almost always the Washington Post that I end up reading in depth. The articles are not just informed and timely - they grab your interest and pull you in. Keep up the great work!
