Recent updates have made Apple Watch so much worse

I’m not sure why the decision was made to make swiping up the way to see all your apps that you have prioritized. Clicking the side button was working great for this before. Sometimes the swipe function does not work at all, and then I have to click the crown button and scroll through my 100 apps to find my most commonly used app, Spotify. Another issue is that Spotify has stopped showing up consistently on my watch, like when I open the app and hit play on my phone. Lastly, I’ve noticed that when I reply to a group chat, my watch no longer identifies my responses and sends me notifications that I’ve replied to the group chat messages. This is rather annoying, please fix this!

Won’t pair to Workout equipment

Christineth14 on

United States

My watch no longer pairs to any workout equipment I use so I can keep track of my walks or runs on any treadmills, the manual tracking is always behind what I’m actually walking very annoying. I’ve tried to restart and completely erase my watch and reconnect and still doesn’t work properly. FIX THE BUGS

Unintuitive settings

RustyFoundry on

United States

It is very frustrating to figure out where watch settings actually live. There have been numerous times where it’s something in the phone watch app, and sometimes on the watch itself. The latest frustration was with setting which stats appear on the watch when in a run. I spent some time looking within the phone app, and logically these would be under the workouts section. But no. It’s one of those settings that is under the workouts section of settings on the watch instead! Which I really don’t think makes sense since the watch is so much smaller. They really need to make it obvious where setting lie, or just have the options the same on both but tell you to switch to the other device if it has to be done there.

How?

This app needs work

RedRider2004 on

So I own an iPhone 12 mini and an iPhone SE (3rd Gen) as well as the Apple Watch SE. I had everything set up on my 12 mini, all my watch faces, settings, apps, etc and then I go to unpair my watch from my 12 mini and pair it with my SE (3rd Gen). I go to pair it and I cannot find ANY of my backup data for anything from my 12 mini and have to start pretty much anew. I can’t even turn on watch as an app on iCloud on my SE (3rd Gen) which means nothing is syncing. I also have been asked so many times to verify my account and update my payment method when I have no outstanding money I owe and my cards are good. I don’t know what’s up but this app needs a tweak.
