Apple Watch App is Useless

clibertynh on

Pretty nice app in terms of design and utility. I got it to use with my Apple Watch. But — the need to constantly “re-authenticate”through my Tesla account makes it useless. It really requires immediate access to use with the watch. Having to wait for the Bluetooth connection and then being told I need to get my phone out and login to my Tesla account to re-authenticate so I can open the trunk destroys the whole benefit of a watch app.

Needs work. A bit buggy.

watfearth on

Great app and awesome price! A little buggy here and there. The watch complication doesn’t report the correct charge %. Many connection problems. Please fix!

Stays current with Tesla updates

ncgoldbear on

I purchased this App in 2023. It worked well and helped me when I accidentally locked my phone in the trunk. I used the Apple Watch when going for a run instead of carrying my phone. I make sure I test it prior to starting the run. I was disappointed when Tesla updated the way third party apps could communicate with the car controls. The app stopped working. I tried again today, June 2024 and now it works. Thank you for staying current with the updates that Tesla makes.

I am have difficulty connecting the watch command to the the car. You have to very close to the vehicle to connect slowly!!!

Doesn't work

dmnla on

I followed all the FAQ's but still cannot get the watch key to work. I'm going to delete and try the Tessie app instead.

Very good app

Please fix the complications not updating or displaying anymore.

Humberto232 on

App worked great at first for several months without any issues whatsoever, BUT around 2 months ago the watch face complications displaying battery state + range as well as cabin temperature stopped updating and now only appear as white blocks on the watch face without any text showing at all. This is a shame because the app worked well before the last couple of updates and Inised it frequently….. now it is totally useless. While researching this issue, I found numerous posts all complaining about the same issues so it doesn’t appear the app developer has found a fix or is either slow rolling it out…..

Much improved (revised review)

DrakTá on

Latest updates have improved this app greatly. Still asks for occasional reverification, but the watch app and phone app have both been working well. If only they could get the fart feature to work.

Watch Widget isn’t working anymore!

J274637 on

The Watch Widget complication isn’t working anymore after the last update!! It doesn’t show anything. What’s going on developer?

App update asks for too many permissions

Jason88889999 on

With the update it only works if you provide a ton of info, it’s not worth giving that info to an untrusted company just to use the watch as a key.
