Will Nixon triumph in his tug of war with the Press or will the truth be exposed? Nominated for Best Board Game App in the BoardGameGeek Golden Geek Awards! In Watergate, one player assumes the role of a Washington Post Journalist, while the other embodies the Nixon Administration—each with a unique set of cards. To win, the Nixon Administration must build up enough momentum to make it to the end of the presidential term, whereas the Journalist must gather enough evidence to connect two informants directly to the President. Of course, the administration will do all in its power to smother any evidence. Watergate: The Board Game is a faithful adaptation of the original board game. It is addicting. Yes, there can be some UI improvements which I hope are rolled out and an easier way to hide the cards and such if you want to see the board state, but I see continued updates with pads and play as well as the AI. The enhancement of having “Display Icons for Card Actions” is a wonderful add. Also, the music slaps. -- checkm_8, 2025-07-31 ### *---- "Crashes frequently" Three attempted solo games, three crashes, unable to continue any of them. So, it’s unplayable in its current form. -- DaringDo42, 2025-07-22 [View all Watergate reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Watergate - [Biblios Dice](https://apptail.io/app/biblios-dice-DmSn/united-states) - [Next Station - London](https://apptail.io/app/next-station-london-xHNt/united-states) - [Imperial Miners](https://apptail.io/app/imperial-miners-PXfu/united-states) - [Eclipse - 2nd dawn](https://apptail.io/app/eclipse-2nd-dawn-Hatu/united-states) - [Next Station - Paris](https://apptail.io/app/next-station-paris-nXPu/united-states) - [Carnegie - The Board Game](https://apptail.io/app/carnegie-the-board-game-Trav/united-states) - [The Isle of Cats](https://apptail.io/app/the-isle-of-cats-Bwiv/united-states) - [Kingdomino Deluxe](https://apptail.io/app/kingdomino-deluxe-TJlv/united-states) - [Caverna](https://apptail.io/app/caverna-Nnnv/united-states) - [Fishing - by Friedemann Friese](https://apptail.io/app/fishing-by-friedemann-friese-Yqjw/united-states) ## Watergate Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/canada) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/mexico) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/united-kingdom) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/germany) - [Latvia](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/latvia) - [Madagascar](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/madagascar) - [Malta](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/malta) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/netherlands) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/norway) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/new-zealand) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/peru) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/ukraine) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/australia) - [Uzbekistan](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/uzbekistan) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/azerbaijan) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/ecuador) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/india) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/watergate-the-board-game-xucw/lebanon) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
